To date I have not had a response from the email listed in the profile and I think I mentioned that the website is dead as well. So perhaps we need a cunning plan, maybe look into having someone else make and ship them out. Look at this! someone is making them, possibly unauthorised as well. I should talk to Stephan about it when I get the time.

Guys, depending how many people want one, I might be able to assist...

I have some of the equipment and specialist inks already used to do this procedure (and tshirt printing) as I was partway setting up a side enterprise before my selling my house took priority.

If enough people want them made, if I could justify a decent shortlist I would put my neck out there and say I would be able to make them for you all.

That would of course depend on permission from Stephan, and quantities needed to justify buying the few extra bits I need.

Theres a few other novelty things I could produce, again, pending numbers to justify it

Woah, awesome! Haven't learned about them until now. I've been round the site since 07 (though I registered in 09) but never noticed them. Shame that here the shipping service here is terrible and the taxes are monstrous, otherwise I'd freaking love to have one

I'd assume if they were all generic, rather than having user names they would work out a bit cheaper/easier to make?

I'd certainly be in for a couple if shipping to Australia can be sorted!

Permission from Stephan is not required. Design the mug, then cross post to the forums to determine the level of interest, pre-orders etc. If the price can include a small donation to the site, well and good.

Graphics aren't an issue, they can be done with usernames and anything else people would want! Easy peasy!

Shipping is also fine globally, things have improved since the last mugs were made.

It's the unique specialist inks, they cost a fortune and you can only bulk buy. I'd hate to buy the inks and run the risk of the bottles drying out when people didn't order if you catch my drift.

I will make some PS mock ups and work out a financial plan to see how many I'd need to sell to make it viable. Would like to have a few confirmed orders before buying the last few bits, hope people understand!

And of course, GPG donation is a definite yes!

Hey guys. Just an update for you all...

I ended up buying out half a house from my ex this month, so finances and time became a little tight to say the least lol!

However...

I've now bought half of the equipment I wanted to get, and am currently negociating the last few large items.

I've also sourced a more reasonable location for material supplies.

Realistically, give me a few more weeks to get myself setup and test items produced, with photo samples. They we are rolling!
