1997 CSM mod help

Hey guys, I'm currently trying to build a personal 1997 csm mod based on the 2009 empty mod. I've already inserted all the cars and helmets, engine sound, tyres and performance files. Now I have two problems:

1. The mirrors of the cars are reversed, I've read of a fix for that problem in another thread but all links are dead.
2. How can I change the driver names in the menu? I've tried editing the globalvars.ini and the GPaedia, but that didn't work, it still shows the 2001 names.


It would be great if anyone could help me

Change the names in the performance files.

Yes I tried to put the cars in 2 or 3 mods and I saw (wuth a some shots, especially when the camera was far) the originals 2001 cars

Did you create the necessary lods for the cars?

If not then there's your answer

I've put the .gp4 files into the Car folders and the .tex files into the Hi folders, using following allocation:
Arrows -> McLaren
Williams -> Ferrari
Ferrari -> BMW
Benetton -> Renault
McLaren -> Toyota
Jordan -> STR
Prost -> RBR
Sauber -> Williams
Tyrrell -> ForceIndia
Minardi -> BrawnGP
Stewart -> Team11

Ok, the names in the performance files are correct. The menu names are still wrong after starting the game, but they are correct in race and also in the menu after leaving the race??
I just discovered a typing error
It's working now

Is it working the cars? You never have the same problem that I have?

the cars are all working fine, till now I haven't discovered any problems, except the reversed mirrors. If you want I can post some screens tomorrow, atm I'm writing via phone.
