FSONE 2009 MOD by RSCT Modding Group -Last update 30/10/2014 [Released]

After I have upgraded my computer to Windows 10, started GP4 up with this mod, I got this issue on the car.

This didn't happen before I upgraded my computer. Any help?

What comes up in my mind that it's an graphic issue maybe updating your videocard driver?

I don't think it's the graphic issue. My videocard doesn't have problems, and this issue doesn't happen with other mods.

I'm running Windows 7 I got same thing happening as well. but get this I have two machines side by side one of the machines exhibits the behaviour the other does not
I was researching this issue and seems it happens on some games, not just GP4.

I also read and now cannot find where that someone resolved this by using another monitor. I will test this and let you know, I just couldn't be bothered to test this out until I guess I saw this post
about the issue.

the machine that doesnt have this issue has an nvidia gtx 750 Ti
the one that does have the issue has ati 7850
both cards have 2 gig memory

Ok it's definitely not the monitor, it has to be something with video card but what I'm not sure, ill play around see what I can find.

Ok I fixed the graphics glitch:-

delete this file:- f1graphics.cfg
then run the game and select:-
-options
-graphics
advanced button

select high on all then Test

slide the fps marker to 25
exit the game and save
open the f1graphics.cfg file and set the following to:-

1680 ; [RELEASE] Game 3D Horizontal Resolution
1050 ; [RELEASE] Game 3D Vertical Resolution

save the file and run the game and you should be ok now

What if I set it on higher than 25?

This is an old game, but a beauty nethertheless. I remember back when if you chose higher fps the cpu had to work harder and the game ran slower
correct me if I'm wrong anyone. That's what I remember.
All my testing is with multiplayer.

I set it at 25fps because for multiplayer it runs well..

I tried it at 60fps single player and it does run slower my rig amd 4ghz setup for single cpu operation

Upto you on what you want to set it to, I find 25 fps a good number.

Fsone 2009 mod gpaedia update version 3

GPaedia and fixes for the "Fsone 2009 mod" by the RSCT modding group.
Compared to version 2 from 2017 the version 3 GPaedia has been fixed in several places.
The gps file structure of the original Fsone 2009 gpaedia is preserved, thus the look and feel will now be almost the same as in the original mod.



The update has been put into a CMU file that can be comfortably installed with CSM.

Hi, I'm new to the discussion, but I'm having a wee bit of a problem, I don't have a HUD, the one that shows your name and time on the bottom left. I have the speedometer and the Def panel, but nothing else, and I can't use the default one because I'll get distracted.
So I wanna know, is it just part of the mod or is it a random bug I can fix?

Okay, so first thing you wanna do is check to see the HUD is switched on in the configurables. Once you set it to whichever one you like, proceed to turn off quickstart. Once you hit 'Run', go to GPXCinfo. You should see stuff like KERS and Speedo-MPH. Make sure those are ticked, then start the game. Lemme know if that works or not.

OK, now I can see info like fastest lap, who's out of the race, but still no information on the driver I'm using, my own laptimes, or my position, I still have to look at the def panel for that.
