GP4 Central - Website to close

In CSM you go to 'GPxPatch'S Settings of the mod' on the left side.
There you chosse GPxTrack and edit the tracks.set file. Choose The .dat-file of track which you downloaded from GP4CC for Slot 5 and start the game.
Select the 5th track for unlimited practice and have fun...

I read somewhere their is $1000 to spend on improvements for grip and bhp.
How do i get these improvements? DO i send a PM to Tom?

There are 17 track slots in GPxTrack. For this event we will use slot 5 which is the original slot for Barcelona.

Cockpit textures will be added soon.

Upgrades will be available for pre season testing 2. I will explain in more detail later.

I'm testing the mod and already produced some laptimes. I won't upload them yet, however, since I want to see if I can do better. A couple of things:
-My surname is Rodriguez (with an S it sounds more Brazilian lol )
-Mistral textures are black, I suppose due to the issue Tom stated. However, helmet textures show OK.
-Tweaker positions are a bit wrong, my helmet is melted into the car xD
Nevertheless the mod is playable and I can feel the physics are trickier than default GP4. Hope I can be ahead of someone hehe.

EDIT: You wouldn't believe the amount of pure RAGE that's building inside of me. It's incredible how the added pressure of beating real opponents causes you to suddenly miss every single corner. I have only one time and then I went rallying around. I hope I can last

why does the slot matter? Aren't the laptimes the same in all slots?

The mod runs and looks very good !

Just a question, are grip and power upgrades applied to the two cars of a team or it's choosen by each driver for his own car ?

lets change that nickname to champ then


btw, when I worked on mods for F1 2013 and F1 2014 (the official titles), I was working with people asking a lot more questions than I am now

this really is a hotlap!!!!!

Anyone got an idea why I can only see my own hotlap in Hofxlapw ?? All other hotlaps it says "Not a GPx data file"
And I can't watch them in the game, too!!! It says, that the files are for GP4 1998...?!?!?!?

I keep getting this error: "Invalid Entry: Init checksum is not correct. Check your physics files.". I installed the mod in CSM and loaded the track as explained, everything works up fine so I don't know where this comes from. Also it says I ran out with all 4 wheels when I'm pretty sure I just put the two outer ones out at Campsa. Not that it matters, the lap was a 1:30.5 anyway. I did a 1.28 but forgot to set GPxPatch correctly and it got denied. Other than that I have thoroughly proved myself as your average Max Chilton and I keep spinning around Felipe Massa Silverstone 2008 style.

AI level must be Pro, and spread set to realistic level (/)

What does the spread set mean?
Fixxed it.
Now how do you get a dfgt wheel to work? I cant brake when using the wheel

did you set up the controller correctly?
I use a DFGT too and it's just fine (look at the lap if you don't believe me )

does the computer have an issue against super fast laps? xD
I did a 24.5 and I tried to enter it the same way as normal but...


I didn't change anything about the game funnily, I was running GP4 v1.02, GPxPatch v4.43... this is a bit silly.
Is the file corrupt or is there a problem from the GP4C computers that they can't accept I'm too fast?

edit: I'm really pissed off because I can't match that lap anymore. It was just a perfect lap.

Hmmm yea I tried calibrating . it sensed both pedals but in game only the accelerator works. Brakes doesn't.

OK guys, I'm having some weird issues with my server's RAM, I think I have a memory leak somewhere and it's causing the GP4CC application to behave badly. Sorry about this. I'm looking for solutions, it might take a couple of days. I guess that's what testing is all about!

I will also try and put up a new version of the mod with all the fixes people have mentioned very soon.

Good news: A new version of the mod is ready. Please download it here.

Bad news: Due to a glitch in the timing system, all Day 1 lap times have been deleted. Barcelona track officials apologise for the inconvenience. Please can you all re-upload your hotlap files. You don't need to drive a new lap.

Also, if you are trying to view your hotlaps in HOFxLap, please make sure you update to the latest version v3.15.
