By the way, will you update the 2014 Mod? The AI still brakes too late and because of that a lot of Accidents happen.

Thanks rookie. I would really like to revisit the previous mods, because I've found a way to develop a much better performance and physics model over the last couple of years. That has mainly fed into the 1993 and 2016 mods so those are the "best".

A quick fix would be to take the physics file from the 2016 mod and overwrite the 2014 one. It won't be perfect but it will be better than the original. Let me know how it goes if you try that.

Checked out your new update, but I see that Tyrrell has no texture, driver helmets, icon and performance file.

Correct, no-one ever finished the Tyrrell unfortunately. I've set up the mod so that it's ready if/when someone ever has the inclination to do it (although I did forget the perf file, I'll fix that).

Hi guys .. just wanted to say I really like the 2016 mod on gp4 central and thanks to the creators.

I have searched for an answer but cant find one ...... on Melbourne track no matter how many times I race there is only 21 runners and max verstappen is always OUT .......is this the norm ?

brakefailure: You have to set the option "Missing Teams" in CSM menu to "All cars at all tracks" otherwise the second RedBull car won´t start the race, remember that in Melbourne 2016 Kvyat (still was in RB) had a failure at the formation lap, that´s why the second RB doesn´t start that race. BTW this is controled by the file numcars.ini

Hey thanks for the answer, Well that makes perfect sense. I never watched that race last year but I thought it might be something along those lines. (Y)

kind of like gp2 where they fill in the missing grid slots with other teams .... well through my user ignorance I have learned something , thanks again I appreciate it.

Hi Tom,

Sorry to hijack this thread somewhat but I really could use your help. I'm trying to make the ai change for wet tyres earlier within your magic data files but the 'helps decide when tyre....' value doesn't seem to give a noticeable change. Could you let me know how I make the ai switch to wets earlier?
