OK, thanks a lot

2nd and Final day for me was extremely usefull.
I found more pace and the balance of the setup was improved considerably
acomplishing of what i think is an extraordinary lap and more with the fuel penalty i have.

Not submiting until i want to but within the event time frame.

This has been great fun so far, though I'm not sure how much more time I can squeeze out here.

I'll spend all of my upgrade budget on power for the next event thanks.

@Tara your budget for the next round is $3600 (not just $1200). Are you sure you want to spend it all on power?

Yep, all on power thanks; Going to need it for Hockenheim and, though to a slighlty lesser extent, Buenos Aires.

I don't know where that time came from, but WOW that was a blast! I know the big guys haven't had a go yet, but it feels awesome to have a competitive time for once! Haven't played this track since my GP2 days, forgot how crazy it was.

@Jorge, thanks a lot for your offer, I will have it in mind for sure for now it seems that I've somewhat nailed this one, but should I have problems with the following ones, I'll get in touch.

I just viewed your hotlap-replay and wondered, if you went outside the track edges with all 4 wheels in the sharp left after this terrible long right corner...
So Andre and me would be glad to know, if this is a foul or not. We think this can save a lot of time...

Could post a screenshot if needed...

Maybe Tom can say something in this special case!?

Acording to the rules the kerbs are not part of the track their for you must keep 2 wheels inside the white lines.
Thats what rules 4.1 and 4.1.1 says.

I remind everyone what happend in Season 1 about that and then Tom asking SDI to update hofxlapw to version 3.15.

Also, please dont touch the walls of the track !!. I remind rule 4.2 of the league !.

Tom@ can you update a bit the rules about the fuel penalty, i mean to put it in writing so its clear.

Im ok with a cumulative system but a think a maximum of 20 fuel penatly is sufficient.

Maybe we come back tomorrow...depends on the weather and on Lutz's 30 year old Vespa

We're quite satisfied right now but surely Tom, Monty and Jorge will beat us again at the end...that's life

That's alright mate, thanks for questioning it politely.
The best thing about a circuit like this, is that it is very hard to find spots to go all four wheels off; Normally you hit a wall really hard before that happens!

Twelve hours ago I was all set for a win, and then along comes not only Supermonty and Jorge to knock me to third, but then Stefano himself comes along and ruins even that!

You guys are absolutely crazy - even with 12 fuel laps more you drive over 1s faster on such a short track...

For Hockenheim please all on Power for Porsche, Tom.

Just cancelled all hopes for a podium this season...there is no more time for testing but this one day a week. Maybe the chance could be higher if the events would last longer - by I have to admit that there are guys out there who are just faster!!!!!

Respect to the guys that went faster at Pau - for some days I thought I could make it to the podium as my lap was good (but only in my eyes).

That's excactly what I think Douglas...every time
It's 1am, I should go to sleep now...disappointed again...

Lutz - don't give up on a podium yet - the fuel penalties will have more effect as they build up...

Also, you have the option of focusing on just one aspect of the car in order to be strong at some events. E.g. if a team owner spends all his budget on grip, you could have 17000 grip for Hungary...

Results for GP4CC Round 4 - Pau

An exciting end to the Pau grand prix. Stefano returned to the competition, and to the top step, for his 2nd win of the season. Jorge just 1 tenth behind, no doubt feeling the effect of the fuel weight, and supermonty in his usual 3rd place!

The midfield continues to be very competitive, with 4 drivers separated by only 5 points at the half-way point of the season.

The GP4CC competitors now take a break for Christmas, before starting again with the New Year's Day grand prix at Hockenheim 1991.
