Jaguar sign Robert Kubica for the 2005 season
Earlier today it was confirmed by Jaguar that they had successfully acquired the services of young Polish driver Robert Kubica for the 2005 F1 season. The team which is set to become Red Bull for the 2005 season have yet to confirm whether he will be carrying out a testing role for them next season, or if he will be thrust straight onto the main stage with a racing seat. Also some rumours suggest that several other teams were interested in Kubica services but he chose to sign the £7m offer made by the what is currently, a British team.

Paffett signs for Arrows
After only recently rejoining the F1 grid the Arrows team have already signed there first driver for the 2005 season in the form of Gary Paffett for a fee off £5m. It appears they faced no competition for the British drivers services.

Renault resign Coulthard
David Coulthard has signed on at Renault for another year after the French team brought him into their 2004 lineup at the last minute, arguably saving his F1 career. The Scot was reportedly delighted after signing a contract reported to be around £9m and looks forward to continuing his early season pace.

Heidfeld stays with Sauber
Heidfeld is the second driver staying put after signing a £9.5m to race for the Swiss team for another season. The young German was glad to be staying with the Swiss outfit, but also promised to bring an end to Sauber's inconsistent start to the 2004 season.

Dammit, Andre was so close to the points, but nevertheless I'm really happy with his performance.
