Jordan Statement

Bad luck for Andre, he did a great job till he got the puncture. Kimi has to improve his qualy-performance, at the pre-season tests and the free practices he already showed how fast he can go. We've still got a lot of work to do.
Minardi statement:

Both drivers showed great fight today. The reason I hired 2 experienced drivers is to push up the grid, and they did so today.

Again a nice job from Webber to pick up points for the second time in 2 races. Also a great Drive by McNish. He is showing some really good potential.

Williams on top once again
There were no surprises once again as Williams driver Juan Pablo Montoya set a blistering lap time in Friday free practice for the Bahrain Grand Prix which put him half a second ahead of the rest of the field. Michael Schumacher did give the Tifosi hope after holding the fastest time for most of the session before being bumped back down the 4th place. Robert Doornbos showed some of his talent putting his Ferrari second just 5 thousandths ahead of Klien in the other Williams in third. Further down the field a superb performance from Anthony Davidson in the Minardi saw him clock a time that was both good enough for 13th place and over a second quicker than his testing team mate Heinz-Harald Frentzen, meanwhile recently demoted race driver Fernando Alonso struggled once again as he finished the session 15th, although he did beat his former team mate Button in 16th.

Montoya makes it three in a row for Williams
Juan Pablo Montoya will be starting from pole position at the Bahrain Grand Prix for the second time this season after pulling out a blisteringly quick lap time which was nearly a second quicker than Michael Schumacher in second place. However it was not all celebrations in the Williams garage as championship leader Rubens Barrichello had a terrible session by his recent standards and only managed to put his car 8th on the grid as Jos Verstappen rounded out the top three. Further down the field Button enjoyed a slightly better session after placing his McLaren 9th on the grid and will be looking to continue his point scoring run whilst his new team mate, Bjorn Wirdheim, ended up 14th. Also Cristiano Da Matta pulled out an impressive 6th place with his team mate Villenueve just behind him in 7th in what looks like a very competitive Toyota and Andre Lotterer trounced his team mate Kimi Raikkonen by over 6 tenths.

Another excellent qualifying session for us in 6th an 7th,building on our great work from malaysia..Puts us in good position to score some more points..Great Stuff!:)
Great to be 2nd and 3rd! However the gap with the man on pole is huge! We suspect Montoya has cut the track somewhere! ;)

It is at the moment, although there is a mid-season test session coming up for those who still have some cash left in their testing budgets ;-)

BAR Statement

The speed clearly isn't there unfortunately, hopefully we'll win some points on our good reliability. Unfortunately, like us, other teams have improved their reliability and we can't gain as much from it as in 2003.
well... thats not too shabby is it! We can see some points coming up, or at least a fight with the big boys McLaren ;-)
