Open settings.ini file, writte: Dat=s1ctOran01.dat (no s1ctOran0124.dat).

Close, save and run

hasbriale: I'm giving some Australian circuits consideration. That's all I can say about that in this thread. Please start a new Australian tracks thread if you have comments about that.

I can tell you that it is very likely I will update Oran Park with improvements at a later date. We decided to release it as is for now for everybody to enjoy in the interim.

Auscain & Chrische, excellent job on the track of Oran Park.
Details very well done as the helicopter, flags, stands.
CC-lines very well done, as well as the braking points.
Excellent work.

I’ve always intended to give a personal response to everybody that left a message after downloading Oran Park.
As of today there were only 117 downloads and 12 responded.
Chrische and I knew going in that this was going to be the case. That doesn’t surprise me at all. The circuit is closed so there is no need to use it as a simulator and sometimes it is probably just downloaded out of curiosity. I don’t mean to speculate too much, just thinking aloud.

So here goes it:

Celinho: chrische and I both do like the details. Oran Park was my home circuit as well as Amaroo park. So I did have some insight into the cc-line plus the breaking points although it’s not fully known exactly how it works in the Builder. I did use some logic towards getting it just so. A physics file and magic file will be worked on eventually to perfect it. In the meantime, set up gear ratios so you can hold 3 gear over the bridge.

I returned to Oran Park to fix the end of the pit lane. The corner banking and the pit lane ending in the corner at the end of straight seem to be the problem for the track pit lane overlay disappearing.
The pit lane has been extended several more sectors and the problem is resolved, thanks to the posting and a brief conversation with xandy in the track editing thread where a similar problem was discovered in a different track. I hope you enjoy driving at Oran Park in Gran Prix 4.

the fact it is a "closed" circuit makes it even more cherishing to drive. i'd rather have old / demolished tracks than the boring tilke layouts.
