My first render's attempt with 3dsmax.

Here is my 2011 helmet.

@nardo451: nice helmet! about the render: maybe you should try to do a render without HANS. just an idea!
@mclarenaustralia: quite simple helmet, but good for start! maybe you should draw something on the side, to look more personal

here are the latest renders of my helmet with a staff model bell HP3 (thank you daimon for its beautiful shape). And Yulcsa for his advice.
Where to find the shape of the Arai without the Hans?
I will try again to make changes on my helmet.

Great helmet! If you dont mind, I have a couple of suggestions based on real life designs and sponsorship deals:
1: try moving the porsche logo to the space above the visor - there is where the main sponsor usually goes.
2: the alpine logo would look better in white, I think.

Anyway, those are just suggestions. The helmet looks great as it is.

I think the porsche logo would look better where it is but I agree with having the alpine logo in white.

After the beautiful helmet I had painted by Julia (Yulcsa), I've started trying my own designs. Here is one:

I like the shape of this helmet.
Where can you have this shape??

It's the 2009 Arai shape made by DaiMOn himself, if I remember correctly. Best would be to ask him, he'll know. Actually that helmet is painted for MDBSnakes Arai 5-RC or 2008, but for the render DaiMOn used this shape...and I have to admit I like it very much as well

Just had to make myself one, it's a Somerset themed helmet.






It's my first go at a helmet, and I know it's not perfect. But my designs will get better when I get better at using Photoshop.

It was tempting to stick the Wurzels on though.
