GPXPatch + TV = Trouble?

GPXPatch + TV = Trouble?

Hey guys, i've just recently moved and to save space for now i've left my monitor and using my tv for my pc. the thing is that gp4 has stopped working. when i go to start a race it quits to desktop after the loading screen has loaded up. i tried a fresh install and gp4 worked. but once i installed gpxpatcg it stopped working and started the same problem. anyone got any ideas how to sort it out? cheers guys

If you have gpx installed, there should be an error log.

Might be a problem of where GP4 has been installed. Are you on 32 bit or 64 bit?

Then you only installed gpxpatch en tried again and it fail to load into the game ???

I've never seen gpxpatch program causes a crash of the game ever.

If the loading bar goes, the game does 3 things: load the cars.wad, track.wad and anim.wad

Did you change those files before trying ????

The properties of GP4.exe must be set to WinXP SP2 or 3, that has not been done.

im on 64bit

yeah it worked fine before i changed to tv from monitor, then it wouldnt worked, tried a fresh install, that worked but when i ran it with gpxpatch, it wouldnt work again and got this report log

i shall try the properties thing and report back

well i suggest to put a fresh gp4.exe, fresh cars.wad and a fresh anim.wad into your game and try again

I had the same problem if I change the resolution of my graphic card. I use a TV too and my GP4 works only in 800 x 600. Maybe change your resolution on a smaller size.
