Dry, no rain, cloudy skies.
Welcome back to Kyalami for the Qualifying. Velox look set to dominate here after their good times in the practice session. But, as they say, anything can happen and it usually does! Pit lane is open, the RD has given the session a green light and qualifying at Kyalami is underway.
All is quiet in pit lane.
Van Djick is first out.
Two drivers sport new lids for this weekend. Marko Aleksander MPR.
John Warrington VSM.
The man most likely to succeed, or will he?
International playgirl Keeley Grant goes quickest and beats all the boys!
While always in the pink MattHouston languishes in sixteenth.
Santilal up into fourth.
Warrington into second place.
Ernie Mudcake aka Stuart Ingers midfield.
Greenhalgh TSS goes fastest.
Champion Oakley makes it a TSS front row.
Halfway through the session and MPR push out TSS.
Greenhalgh pulls a rabbit out of his hat, what a fight back!
Aleksander in eighth.
The paddock is abuzz with rumours about this driver.
Van der Voort in the Velox garage, will he go out again to try and improve his time?

The ideal start to our race. We know better than most that success in quali does not guarantee success in the race but it's good to see we still have the raw pace (boost assisted) to remain in a chance with this year's championships

Most powerful team on the grid and we end up down the midfield... The setup for the cars was all off.... Don't know what the dam testers thought they were smoking... Just left no time to set the car up properly. Now i'm gonna have to sit up all night and set the dam car up right... I should go wake the dam testers up and make them watch hours and hours of MooseCow or something similar. The testers will now have to prove to me that they are capable of setting the car up right FOR ME... not them... ME! Is it too much to ask that the championship leader actually get some respect within his dam team. I may be a party boy but i can drive faster than anyone in this team (sorry Nick but it's true). There may be some arrogance to it but its the fact. I want to win this championship for myself and Velox. I've been contracted to them since the start of the GPGSL and i want to deliver and not be hindered by some half witted driver who can't even string a decent setup for the team.

The n00bs in GPGSL are dangerous and whether they are on my team or not they should at least understand their place in the league and not influence the outcome of the World Drivers Championship!.

Always give yourself the key strategies and make me suffer, having to pit when its convenient for you. And yet after all this, i still manage to prove i am a far more superior driver than you are!
