Test Drivers Mod Update V5.3 uploaded. V5.0 is required. :-) Last major update
Changes for both mods include: weather fix (now 100% working to calendar), new pitprops, kyalami performances, new test driver and helmet, new race driver helmets, test driver swap, team car texture fix, settings, images & teamart. Go get it, you know you want to, do it NOW! :-)

For mod updates, V5.0 and V5.3 is required. AFAIK that's the only files available anyway on the downloads page. :-)
Next update will be full mods V6.0, hopefully not too soon.

I would just like to say a big thanks to the GPGSLRS boys. With a full field
of race drivers and only 3 short of a full field of test drivers making a
combined total of 41 drivers, they do an absolutly fantastic job of organizing
and running this competion.

I only started 6 weeks ago when there wher still about 10 test driver seats
avalible, know there are only 3 and my bet is they wont last long either. I
can't wait till we have a completly full driver line up, when it will make it feel
all the more realistic.

So once again, thanks guys for all your hard work and may the GPGSL live
on for many years to come, Who knows it may get even bigger and better!

GPGSL Round 8 Kyalami SA Free Practice Session

The Superleague is in Africa! Free Practice is about to start. One new driver makes his debut today, Ashley Teagle driving for DXR as their number one tester.

Weather Report

No rain forecast for the race weekend. Currently the track is dry, cloudy skies.


There have been no reports of hephalumps or zebras wandering around the paddock. All is quiet in pit lane as the session gets underway.


We have a green light and first out is Dan Mills.


Teagle on track, danger danger Will Robinson!


Ashley starts his first flying lap.


Early times and Zak Tonks is quickest, is that any surprise...


Jack Elleker finally driving the right test car.


Dan Mills goes fastest as Copeman shows good pace.


Kevein Schroeder quickest.


Perhaps TSS have car problems as Zsigmund falls to the bottom of the leaderboard!


All cars back in the pits after the first runs.




Velox looks to have good pace here today.


Joel Henrique into fourth.




Ben Brown about to cross the line.


Now he goes off! That's not good.


John Maverick Velox at the top! Team mate Adam Davies looking to improve his time.


Nathan McGregor somewhat off the pace in sixteenth.


Somogyi improves to eleventh.


Halfway point in the session and the cars stream out again for another crack at the fastest time.




Maverick still fastest.






Adam Davies pips his team mate for fastest. Looks like Velox have a good package here.

Wooooohoooooo!
2nd on debut, what a beginning! That was great. I'm still full of adrenaline. This car felt so amazing. Freewheeling and fast. What a great job from the mechanics. And very well done from Adam as well. That was a hell of a round that he burned into the asphalt there. No chance for me to counter that.
So, seeing that result I'm pretty sure that we both found a very good setup for Nick and - in my case - for Matt. Go guys, that can get a big party on sunday night ;-)

Your guaranteed a big party when you drive for Velox (H)

Hence what i think Monil's announcement will be... uh oh..
