If you are using Photoshop, compressor OLE must be disabled when you save your tga file.

And of course you need to be sure the .tga file has an alpha layer ;-)

Which is the meaning of a 32-bit tga ;) 32 bits = 8 blue bits, 8 red bits, 8 green bits and 8 black/white bits (the alpha layer)

Even then you still need to be sure it's a good alpha layer ;)

And be sure textures sizes are powers of 2 :) because it will work in Gp4Builder but not in game.

And you must have 4 tga files for each textures if you want to convert them in tex files with Texeditor:
High res: 2048*2048 , 1024*1024, 512*512 , 256*256
Mid res: 1024*1024 , 512*512 , 256*256, 128*128

If you convert your tga files into tex with Slimtex, just drop your tga file into the Slimtex window (batch to tex) but don't forget to click right on your tga file and to select mipmaps = 4 before converting...Maybe you knew it but...

You only need the biggest size tga file with Texresizer and the "Downsample" button will create the other 3 textures.

Oh damned! I was usually resizing the biggest tga 3 times manually before to convert in tex files with Texresizer lol ;)...hmmm 2 years doing like this! I feel so ridiculous now! lol
