Mal (mortal) is running the race and this is what he said on previous page:
The re-run will be in the next day or so, I've got a lot on as usual.
He's from Australia so that's cca 10 hours infront of Europe too,

Press release: "VSM's disappointing Zandvoort race for me got worse for the race drivers, low down the order, and team leader not far ahead of them. Hopefully they can stay out of the mayhem and get some well-deserved points, especially for Kevin.

Double F's withdrawal is a blow. I remember me and Monil being team-mates in S1 and Florian giving me my first opportunity at the A1-Ring, where I promptly put it on pole and Monil led a 1-2 finish. The season went down-hill from there, whilst Monil challenged for the championship. I hope whoever takes over the reigns from Florian makes it a team worth being in the paddock for."

I checked his forum posts and I can't find it. I probably was in a let's-abuse-my-powers-mood :P
Mmmmmm, can someone explain me some maybe mistakes in the test driver perf file?

1. Dan Mills has a perfection of 16111,582,16086,579 at zandvoort, but no boost is shown? His perf file is supposed to be 16059,567,16102,563

2. This season jethro Walters started with 16064,600,16094,600, he scored 9 points(and a pole position), so thats 10 points. His perfection for zandvoort shows: 16073,591,16125,569 ( 1 point to few?)

3. And Did Janis eglitis get punished?

His race perf before Classic hockenheim: 16093,573,16136,569
His race perf before jarapaguai: 16033,567,16067,563 (thats a punishment of 60?)
And then his race perf for zandvoort: 16059,567,16102,563? (That doesnt make sence, he had a 12th place, how can he gain 26 points?)

Race starts: 141 | Points: 886 | Podiums: 35 | Race wins: 10

I'll let Stu answer these, as he's edits perfs, but in general

the mentioned drivers are testers not racers,
in friday free practice P1 gets you 12 race perf points and 15 qualy perf points i believe. In races and qualy is 15 on both fronts.

pole position point does not count in race perf. as it's awarded separately with 15 qualy perf points to 12th place in qualy with one perf point. Race and qualy perf points are separate.
you do get the championship point for pole.

these specifics you mentioned, Stu can adress.

Dan Mills perf was posted as 16111,574,16144,571, not sure where you got the second figures from. Dan did indeed have a 50 perf boost and I neglected to add his name to the boost list. His perf without boost is therefore 16061,574,16094,571

As Marko has said earlier, Jethro has 1 bonus point for pole position at Melbourne. This is not counted towards the race part of the perf because he also receives 15 qualifying perf points.

Janis Eglitis has in fact received 2 perf penalties. His perf at Classic Hockenheim was as you say 16093,573,16136,569 but I can't find any reason why his perf for Jacarepagua would be 16033,567,16067,563. Looks like an error on my part. As Janis has now been fired by IED because of in-activity I unfortunately can't address the error.

On researching this error I have also noticed that perf points gained by the test drivers were not added after the Jacarepagua round. Perf penalties and boosts however were. These missing points will be addressed for the next round, the following test drivers will run with extra at Spa.

Dan Paddock R +3, Q +3
Tim van Dijck R +6, Q +6
Kyran Brazier R +2, Q +2
Zsigmond Somogyi R +7, Q +7
Alexandre Koemmerer R +4, Q +4
Randy Winston R +12, Q +11

I apologise for any inconvenience :(

Thanks go to Charrel, I wouldn't have spotted the problem without his query. :)

GPGSL Round 7 Zandvoort Grand Prix

Welcome back to the land of clogs and waccy-baccy for Round 7 at Zandvoort.
Someone left the door to the broadcast van open and there's sand everywhere!
After a quick sweep out and ordering in a fresh box of doughnuts from catering we're ready to go.

Due to the crap weather, it rained for most of the race, and there were five DNF's recorded, six cars made an extra stop due to damage and one car stopped three times.

I've just rewound the tape, switched on the transmitter, buzz buzz, crackle pop, yep, we're good to go.

Cars are on the grid, waiting for the RD. Aleksander on pole.

One light, two lights, three lights, four lights, five lights, it's GO GO GO GO at Zandvoort!

Aleksander leads the field into turn one.

Stoddart breaks open a can of 'Whoopass'.

Said can turns out to be a dud as van Renselaar passes for second.

van Renselaar is on a charge.

van Renselaar closes on Aleksander.

Aleksander fights back.

van Renselaar leads at Zandvoort.

Zandvoort claims its first victim.

DeBoer is out of the race.

Aleksander retakes the lead.

But not for long as van Renselaar takes it back.

Groeneboer is in trouble as he runs wide.

Rejoined safely.

Cartwright passes Stoddart.

Stoddart drops to fifth.

The rain has eased and Houston puts in a fast one.

The last race for Double F.

Grant in the pits.

Race leader in the pits.

Aleksander pits.

Hinz enters the pits and collides with the race leader. van Renselaar pits again.

Somogyi beaches his car.

van Smirren runs wide and suffers terminal damage.

van het Bolscher collides with Ingers, there'll be some 'briefing' after that one.

Cartwright closes in on Aleksander.

Aleksander runs wide and Cartwright pounces.

Aleksander drops to third.

Somogyi is out.

Tonks runs wide as well.

Here comes Groeneboer. It gets messy, both are out.

Cartwright wins at Zandvoort!

That's it for the coverage from Zandvoort. Official results will be posted soon.
