My GPGSL Career

Just seen the results, been ill for a few days. What can I say? Great quali, loved it, 5th and 6th is fantastically solid and a result I am happy with. Race time, erm. Rick spun, like probably most over drivers. But Rico, you baffle me. How on earth, shame not to know why you didn't get points. Poor race, but, we are still top of the constructors, so I'm still happy.

M.A.: Thanks, yeah, it's been one hell of a ride. I'm so happy.
Host:Bad qualifying, what went wrong?
M.A.:Mix of few things. Seems that the car works better race pace wise, and there's some problems with the qualy set up. We're working on it. Plus the monsoon rain didn't help. Amount of water on the track wasn't consistent, so when I was doing my flying lap i actually messed up, and then couldn't do better.
So, describe the start of the race
M.A.: Obviously had a really good one, went on the inside of the track, gained few places. I wasn't going to let Melbourne to repeat itself, that's for sure. Then I just pushed as hard as I could.
It paid off. Did you expect to be on the podium before hand
M.A.:No. It did not look good at all after qualy. And then I fully concenrated on driving and took each battle for position at the time. Had some good matches with Hinz and De Boer. Plus some spinning off and car failures helped our cause.
You managed to set the fastest lap of the race as well, half a second on the rest.
M.A.:We changed to intermediates at the right time and - to a smaller extent- obviously I was in the zone as well,LOL. What can I say...
You're only three points away from the leader of the championship
M.A.:It's very close overall. This will be one challenging season. It is already.
It's anyone's game as the saying goes right now. I'm pacing myself, and naturally I want that title. It eluded me in season 1 when I was with Minardi(VSM). Then the whole second season was about making progress with MPR. And we finally developed the car....
Having won three races in your career, are you expecting a fourth one soon?
With steps in the right direction, hopefully I will finally get another win. It's been so long.

An absoluitely disastrous race, the car was off the pace and the little skill my two drivers showed was completely outshadowed by first of all Ed's spin and then Phil's disregard for the yellow flags to then go plowing in to him!

I shall be briefing both drivers tomorrow morning.

when i select mal stoodart from mod's configurables,i drive stuart ingers in-game.I think that it's caused by driver order(John Warrington is the champion and Hinz is his team mate),but gp4 put team #1 on top(in this case Team Shadow Subaru).Will it be fixed?

P.S.Phoenix Racing this year will be engined by BMW


edit:i was seeing test driver performances on first page: on mod perf my values were higher than my Shaddix and on first page my values are lower than Shaddix.What's the correct performance?

@senna9194, I think you are referring to the drivers team art, there's none been done for the test drivers, and the config files were in the wrong order for both race and test. I've changed that tonight, next is creating the test driver helmet.gpi files. It will probably be in the next update.
There's nothing wrong with the in-game driver selection, I don't use the mod to drive so I actually tested it tonight, selected myself as a driver and was in the correct car, and correct driver name on the grid. Tested also with another driver and the result was good.
The update wont be until after Round 3, by then I'll know who is where at Lucky 7 for Round 4 and the Phoenix car should be ready by then.

I edited the globalvars for both race and test mods and matched them to the perf files so there shouldn't be a problem with wrong driver being selected. Team Shadow Subaru were Team Champions last season so therefore are team #1 this season.

The reason your perfs were higher than Tim's in the last round at Hockenheim is because you requested a +50 perf boost and Tim did not.
