So in race 3 TSS had a fake boost?

(TSS requested a team boost but neglected to say how much.)

Or do they have to many boosts now? because in other races they have a total of +16 bhp already..

what was the use of that? :P

There's no such thing as a fake boost, the team either has it or does not. As already announced by the GPGSL, TSS has reached the BHP cap as defined in the rules. However, if TSS have not used their allocation of 16BHP for use throughout S3, they can continue to do so. When they have used their boost allocation, TSS will run the remainder of S3 with the capped BHP. I think we reduced it this season to 810, but don't quote me on it.

Oke, then explain this:

TSS Team boosts:

Race 3: TSS requested a team boost but neglected to say how much.
Race 4: +8bhp
Race 6: +6bhp
Race 8: +2bhp

----------------
Total: +16bhp

If I read the rules, there is stated:

"Every team is given 16 boost BHPs"

Now you explain to me, has Team Shadow Subaru used more boosts then 16, or was the "TSS requested a team boost but neglected to say how much." just a fake boost of +0bhp?

What im trying to say, can you explain to me what this was in the Race 3 perf file:

"TSS requested a team boost but neglected to say how much."

It cant be +1bhp or more..

What's your point Charrel? I don't have the R3 perf. As far as I know, if a team does not nominate boost correctly, it is not given. It's that simple. If you know something I don't, say so, there's no need to be obtuse.

It means to nominate a boost, it must be +1BHP or more. Today, in S3, if a team nominates a boost but does not give the amount, they get nothing. The GPGSL can not give a team a boost without having the amount.
In future, (S4) if a team nominates a boost, but fails to stipulate how much, the GPGSL will apply a default. Likely to be set at 4BHP. This absolves the GPGSL from having to chase after the team owner to clarify the request, and allows the GPGSL to apply a boost on behalf of a team without bias. The GPGSL records all teams boosts, therefore no team can exceed its season allocation. Sorted.
