Could you please define 'valid reason', i.e. does internet problems count, school/uni exams, etc.?

i always thought ths was one of the few serious threads ;)

This is the thread with the most spam in it ;) ;)

Internet problems certainly do count as a valid reason, but school/uni exams I would say not. It doesn't take much effort to write a short post every 2 weeks, I'm sure exams wouldn't prevent anyone from doing this.

5 x WCC - S5, S6, S7, S8, S10 | 4 x WDC - S5 Nick van der Voort ; S6, S7, S8 Ed Greenhalgh | 2 x WTC - S6 Stuart Ingers; S8 Andrei Sevastian
Thanks for the clarification!

I'm back. Happy with my ranking in WDC, MPR leading WCC, now only thing missing is victories.
Montreal, finishing 4th after starting second, could have been better, but the way the start of the Montreal race is designed, car (ai) on 2nd position always seems to lose the spot to the third one on the grid. similarly as pole seater always loses spot in Melbourne at the start, so i could say my race was lost in qualy just one thousand of a second behind Ed. That said, i did have 49 laps to get it back, but Monil was just too good and I couldnt get by Kevin either. Good job!
However even with finishing 4th, I scored extra point, thus 4th was like 3rd.

After seeing screenies somewhat surprised with Hockenheim qualy as rain wasnt a factor in the beginning. Oh, well, given Stu said retirements were in great numbers, I just hope now that I finished the race with no mistakes too.;)

Fire someone else, I'm 11th in the championship and I got 2/3 of the total points for Alpha ;)

When are you going to post that short thing? A line that runs from one side of my screen to the other can't be considered short ;)
GPGSL European Grand Prix, Classic Hockenheim.

Weather Forecast: 40% chance of rain.

Circuit Conditions: Wet, wet, wet! I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes! The rain is all around us, it even gets up my nose!

The German fans sound their klaxon horns in anticipation of a Schroeder or Hinz win. The rain is hanging in the trees around the circuit and I have just sat on yet another half eaten doughnut left by Mal.

Are you ready? Are you steady? On your marks! Get set! GOOOOOOO!!!!!!

van der Voort takes the lead into the first corner.

And promptly loses it to Oakley.

The fight for 4th.

Greenhalgh takes 2nd. Shadows 1 & 2!

van Renselaar runs wide at turn one, no harm done.

Walters has got it all crossed up!

Could be interesting.

Greenhalgh has took the lead but Oakley fights back!

Oakley retakes the lead.

Zak tonks in 12th

Schroeder goes fastest on lap 4!

Santilal spins off track in 16th.

Greenhalgh grabs the lead once more as Scroeder closes on both the Shadows.

Walters fighting his way back.

Schroeder attacks Oakley for 2nd place.

van Smirren goes fastest.

As Horváth runs wide.

Having taken 2nd Schroeder sets after Greenhalgh.

Standings after 5 laps.

Schroeder sets fastest lap in his chase of Greenhalgh.

van der Voort, Groeneboer, van Smirren and then Walters go even quicker.

Track must be drying out as on the following lap van der Voort, Houston, Tonks and then Walters again set the fastest lap.

Now Santilal goes quickest.

With all these lap times its not surprising that Schroeder taking the lead has been missed by the cameras.

Disaster for the German crowd as Scroeder is sidelined with transmission problems.

Stoddart runs wide at turn one.

van het Bolscher catches fire then loses a wheel as Houston goes faster still.

Time for tea! :)

AHH! A full belly :)

On with the show! BURP!

Pitstops begin.

Walters is flying.

Warrington runs wide in his fight with Walters.

Grant slips off the track again.

Ingers challenging Groeneboer for 7th.

Horváth and Warrington get close and personal.

Zak Tonks is yet to make a stop, so is left in the lead.

Hinz spins at the first chicane.

Standings with 23 laps to go.

Houston out! Suspension failure.

Dry line forming, time for slicks? Intermediates?

Horváth on slicks.

Hinz on intermediates.

Warrington drops it at the first chicane.

Maybe slicks are too brave.

Horváth seems to be able to make them work in the damp conditions.

Everyone is going for slicks, Tonks left in the lead again. He's got the call to come in this lap.

Oh no!

Zak Tonks out of the race whilst in the lead!

Time for dessert! YUM! YUM!
