Fantastic Qualy session. P9 doenst seem very impressive but considering I didn't use a boost and usually suck in qualy im pretty happy with it. Nice to see Rico in front aswell, hopefully we can keep this pace in the race and keep IED in the race for the constructors championship.

Presented by Stoopid Stunt

Welcome back to sunny Indianapolis. The old crooner we've never heard of has sung 'Back Home in Indiana', the latest winner of American Idol has given us a very strange r'n'b version of the 'Star Spangled Banner' and the old biddy has staggered on crutches to the microphone and just about managed to order the drivers to start their engines.

The drivers are ready!

Horváth takes the lead from Houston going into the first turn.

Taking the banking for the first time and van Smirren goes for 2nd.

Top 8 after lap 1.

Walters tips Stoddart into a spin.

Horváth sets fastest lap at the end of lap 2.

Ingers goes faster soon after.

van der Voort takes to the dusty trail.

Rejoins last.

van Smirren has taken 2nd and sets off after Horváth.

Warrington rejoins after an off.

Ingers takes a spin.

Rejoins in big traffic jam.

Walters is having an action packed afternoon.

Ingers about to take 9th. Wahoo!

First, second and third have closed right up.

10 laps down here's the standings

Ricardo van Smirren is shaping up to take the lead.

Ingers going for 8th. Somebody stop meeaaaggghhh!

This is gonna end in tears.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bugger!

Oakley pits.

Leader on pitlane.

Philip is being held up in traffic after his stop.

Chris Hinz in the kitty litter as Stoopid sets fastest lap.

Stay tuned for more!

hmm, overtaken at the start down to 6th, got one position back, and then another , currently fourth after misfortunes of Stu. Seems that i have heavier fuel load than top 3.
Monil, you're moving up:-)!7th!

edit: actually no, i passed stu before his unfortunate spin, it's Matt that is behind in the standing as well.

So, anyway she said said to me, "Ooh that's big!"

Ahem! Welcome back from the break, lets swiftly return to the action.

First round of stops almost done. Or is the bird one stopping?

Warrington takes another spin, looks like a Lewis Hamilton kind of season for the reigning champion.

Oh dear looks like its gonna be handbags at dawn in the Velox motorhome.

If it wasn't for those spins ...

I'm on fire!!!!!!

15 laps to go and the 2nd round of pitstops have started.

not a good race for Phoenix Racing drivers.:-(

terrific coverage, Stu, hilarious too;)
4th, well, ofcourse i'd be happier with podium and ofcourse win, but big bag of points is always welcome. Heavy fuel load in the first stint caused me some pace, then Phillip regained third spot later.
It elevates to second in the standings I believe! Bravo Monil! Dan,MPR takes the most points again!
congrats to Rico!

4th and 5th :)

Best overall finish I think we've ever had

Congrats boys, can't wait to see the Constructors table now :)

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22
Season 9: Constructors' Champions
Nick stopped only once, but since we dont know(or do we?) if Zak was less than 15 seconds behind(penalty is 15 seconds in the dry, 20 in the wet for not making a scheduled stop),i suppose he can stay 21st .
