and wouldn't it be possible to make the black transparent?

I made it transparent but it comes up black ingame.

Tried it with the normal resolution, 1280x1024 and had the same problem. The other graphics I have for gpx work perfectly.

Anyone else getting this problem?

I still have the existing three gpxpatch options(2004, classic,digital)?

You put it the the Grand Prix 4\gpxpdata\gfx folder
and select Digtial 2004 in the GPxSAT menu in gpxpatch.

Yes, I got this problem with a wilde screen (1440*900).

Here is one I created. I increased the size of the siemens_2004.tga and added better quality LG logo.
My screen size is 1680x1050.
