Sweet!

Trying to add them all now, so I can already get the 2009 feeling ;)

Great! I like the idea of putting the new colorschemes on the fantasy shapes! This way I can allready compile my onw 2009 mod and when the cars based on the real shapes are released I can swap the fantasy shaped cars for the real shapes.

Previous years I just used the old cars (so I used for example the 2007 Ferrari untill the 2008 was released), but with these new regulations, a grid with 2009 cars mixed with 2008 just looks horrible!

Can you please release some other 2009 cars based on this fantasy shape to complete the grid?

@JeDa : I think alexschumi has got some ideas and he's got a really high skill in painting ! ;)
For me, I could make some others cars on this shape but the good painters/shapers make a very quick work like Toyota, Williams, Renault etc... and there is no more cars which are not in work in progress.

My opinion is. if someone wants to paint other cars in this template it will be possible to have a 2009 cars.wad for the beginning of the championship waiting for the "official" updates from other car shapers. In that way comunity could be more motivate to produce other jobs! (including myself)

Me im doing a csm mod for this.
It will be simple, nothing fancy but good enough to have a lot of
fun.

Samnuel is their a possibility you update Suzuka the 130R and last chicane
please.

Kind regards
Jorge.

Thanks for the car but you have to watch out that you don't give the textures the same name as the Force India car which you did, due that ingame you get 4 brawn cars or 4 force india cars !!!!

You can rename the assigned textures under GP4Builder. it will save the coordinates.

A 2009 Mod with fantasy (yet rule-compliant) shapes is a very neat idea to kick off this season! It seems to me the new regulations gave GP4 modding a boost! :)

Hi there

Thank you all involved on these new liveries for a standard template.

It´s all we need for a fine 2009 start.

Now I´m really curious about next releases :)

And please no WIP pictures: release them asap!

Best regards and thank you very much!

Hello!
I found a small problem: I downloaded both the Brawn and the Force India. The names of the .tex files are the same, so it should be impossible to use them together in the same cars.wad. How can I sort this out?

if you open the .gp4 files in gp4builder you can change their names

- go to tools
- go to rename textures
- rename the textures with a .tga extension to wathever you like it
- rename the .tex files in windows explorer
