Where has everybody set their driving position to in the game? And why?

I set mine to 75%. The 100% default feels like your tried to turn a single seater F1 car into a double seater, but 75% feels about right. More or less where the GP3 view is.

100% I like peripheral vision :)

T-cam all the way for me! Helmet cam looks nice, but I can't drive with it to save my life!

I get no sound in the T-Cam view, apart from when I get a rush of echo like going under a bridge. Had something like it in GP3-2000, too!

I find helmet cam too ugly, probably just my gfx card though. I drive T-cam, but the lack of feeling in it makes it hard to drive...don't know when you're on the edge.

Turn off the Visors then and use GP3 style cocpit

Can't do that either. With no mirrors, you become very aware of how little you can actually see...no peripheral vision at all!

I drive t-cam, coz I get a lower PO on my slow system. And also, cos I prefer it.

Cant turn off the VISOR? You should be able to, its in the graphics options menu.

Kepp the mirrors on, visor off.

In the cocpit press "X" to look left and "C" to look right :P good peripheral vision!!

Yeah, but when you press X and C, you still can't really see anything! The cockpit sides are really high, which is pretty realistic.

I meant I cant sit in normal cockpit. Switching visor off doesnt counter the PO hit of mirrors on enough.

I couldnt run heat haze or bump mapping even if I wanted too! I did try bump mapping, but it dropped the fps by 2, so I got rid of it.
