i have a sound blaster live value card. The games runs smooth at all times except when i brake, when the cpu occ goes up to 400%, and then when i release brake pedal, back to 60 again. I have discoved that by unticked 2d and 3d sound this fixes the problem. I am dl the latest drivers now, but any others ideas? i had the same problem with gp3 2000 with EAX and 3d sound too. Apart from that great game.

you need to go to control panel/settings/sound & properties/speakersettings/advanced.

slide the performance bar sample rate conversion quality from best to good, this will help drop your PO

What kind of PO difference does this make? Is it significant, or should I reduce also the hardware acceleration bar?
