I seem to recall back when I did them, I positioned them (front and rear) so that the inner parts didn't overlap with parts of the suspension/car. I agree that often it led to tyres looking a bit out of position. Was an either or decision, I went for the first option.

If you want to move them further to the inside, you'll have to play with the first coordinate. For example
from
RearRight       =  0.8400,   -0.2350,   -1.8140
RearLeft        = -0.8400,   -0.2350,   -1.8140
to
RearRight       =  0.8200,   -0.2350,   -1.8140
RearLeft        = -0.8200,   -0.2350,   -1.8140

I'd go in steps by 0.01-0.02 and see how it works out.

Try my f1graphics.cfg, or verify that "Increase texture quality" and "Full 32 bit textures" are set to 1.

Hi Kerley absolutely perfect 1996 mod and real engine sound thank you for your work(Y)(Y)
how use 1996.txt performer for all tracks and no use circuit specific performances? And how in qualifing run 11 car and no all togheter for pole alla volta tanks

You can use some of the 1995 trackpack and other.

I'm in my home for some days because the COVID19. I will try to do a 1996 trackpack.
