All I can say on my part was the MOD that Kerley sent me was haevily based on the 95MOD, I was going to tell him which parts, but since J-C took it on and having seen his beta, much of the things have changed, but I haven't looked close enough to see what matches and what doesn't. I believe J-C will sort it all out, but obviously I'll happily check before release.

Kev i already talked to Zaz about this.
I will send the mod to him for inspection when i thinks its ready.
He will determine if its ok to publish or not.
IM sure Zaz will give me instructions whats needed
to be changed but i doubt this seriously because i changed so
much things since the beta i sent you, that you will not be able to recognize it.

I ask for patience and some latitud of trust.
And i will never publish something that i don't have permission.

Kind regards
J-C

It is very easy to see that this mod has been built based on the 1995 mod, so denying it is odd. I don't know if 'changing everything' makes it better or not, but some recognition to the 1995 team would be nice. Getting permission before hand would be even better - I don't usually say no without a good reason, and I'm sure Fongu (the 95 team boss!) wouldn't have a problem with it.

If this mod isn't okayed by Zaz it will have nothing to do with me. I've offered some advice, and some helmets in this thread, and asked about permission, thats all - no accusations.

jcaranti, surely you can manage building a mod from scratch? its not that much work.

I will deny it because its totally changed at least thats
how it is now. The version i sent kev thats another story and is
very questionable. Do try to read the thread, you might make
less fool out of yourself.

You never answer any pm´s or emails i send so whats the point
in contacting you anyway.

Im sure it will be okayed because i know what i did for this

a clue of whats going on.

You offered crap thats what you offered. Most of the things you
said in the public should clearly be said in private messages, msn
or emails to sort of differences. But hey your the show guy, GOD
mod GP4 csm maker!!. And you acussed me of things. The best part of
all that the mod is not finished and it isnt published !!! so stop the
crap of permissions and acusations.

well it is all bunch of BS, TBH.

First, in order to claim something is your intellectual property you have to register it.
So untill that graphical update, that you have used as a base, isnt registered as the
intellectual proprety of the individual that claims it you can freely use it as a base for your own work.

In other words; untill it is copywrighted it can be copied.

Now, wire me my 300 euros for legal advice.

BTW, you can alwas say that you admire original author so much, that you were inspired by his work...
therefore it is so simmilar.

J-C, Kerleyf1, Fongu and F2007, I am repeating virtually all imprints (sponsors) cars of the season 1996 and 1997.
I conclude by the end of this week. Notice when they are ready.
The imprint of the cars of season 1997, not yet checked if need improvement or are missing something.

For the love of god, this is why I stopped making stuff for GP4, because of all the bickering.
I'm not saying I agree particularly with either side, but I sincerely wish I hadn't passed on these
cars now - it's just not worth the hassle to see people squabbling.

Then please say if your going to remove the permission for the
cars, pitcrews and helmets now this way i don't waste my time on the mod.

Guys! Last opinion from me: DON'T FIGHT!!! :)

J-C, don't anwer to everyone like this, you put everyone against you (my opinion).

I don't want to to loss the permission from RMS Lusitania (crashking) and the others permission that we get.

Please, don't anwser to anyone, not as bad guy. We can work with all of GP4 community to bring to us more season to drive.

Please J-C and everyone here, we don't need fight. Specially me, I just wanto to drive those seasons!!

:)

Be happy guys!

Mate i dont want to fight either. But look at b-tone having
his rants in this thread accusing me of things and even
questioning the mod before its even public. I really dont
understand why he thought in the first place that i would
release without permissions !.
I try to do things in the good way but people like b-tone
makes it harder and harder to actually to publish something.
If he had some discrepancies he should used the PM service of
this forum and we could have sorted out the differences in a
pacific and more relaxed way, but no mr b-tone like his rants.

Dont worry mate in worst case we keep the mod to our self's
although it would be a pitty and a loss to the gp4 community
and that would make me sad.

Kind regards
J-C

It really makes me sad to read these postings, why do you fight about
permissions and other things, it will kill the community and maybe
this game. Why don´t we stay together and make GP4 with new mods and
tracks the best racing simulation ? If I look at rFactor I see
conversions from many other games, they convert tracks and mods and
no-one really cares about it, don´t know if all this stuff is leeched
or not, but they don´t have these fights, so please stop.
I hope that someone´s listening to an old man, the message is PEACE !

Happy racing from Germany !!!

I'm not removing any permission I have given.

But please, stop being rude to each other. We all help put these sets together for us all to share,
please just work together and don't get snipey.

I have sets for 98, 99, 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, and 05 with permission already received to release, but I see posts like the ones above and wonder what is the point!!!!

If releasing stuff still makes people argue, I don't see it's worth while.

It is in human nature to have a fight(s).
Sometimes with point (but avoidable), but in most cases without reasonable point and totally unnecessary.
So people, lets try be COMMUNITY and make 'our' favorite game better and don't waste forum space and time (most important) and nerves (second important) for things that can be sorted in nice and gentlemanly, not like #$%& (really don't want to say this word ;) ).

Kerleyf1 and drafi5, I agree with you two.
They are talking too much, and that is beating too accusing others.
Enough!!
Let's focus on the MOD desnvolvimento in 1996 and 1997!!
When I or redesign the logos and pass I do not care who it is, or what they are making with them, just want to help!
To keep the gp4 even more alive.
The time it could be with my wife and kids, I dedicate to this hobby.
Please stop fighting.
This does not lead to anywhere.
