the pics look good... but yeah, it is too bright! Shows that something can be done to make the game look more realistic!

Looks like a nuke went off in the distance and this is the flash we see. Totally shitty pics. Way to bright and if you tihnk this is what real life looks like, you need serious help.

Obviously Geocities is too stingy to allow it to work so here is the URL:

This still might not work straight up, but it is the correct URL, just remove the 'g' and then re-type it. Geocities hates links.

Yeah I know thats what It says. Do this....

1.) Click the link
2.) On the error page, remove a bit of the URL and press enter
3.) when the next error page comes up, put the piece of URL back in and hit enter, that should do it!

Its something Geocities does, they want you to have come from Geocities.com directly, not from an outside source.

Yes, I think that works. :)

What did you think?

Yeah it works. The funny thing is that now after looking at these pics I can see them in this thtread as well. When I hit F5 they are gone and I just an empty frame the size of the pics with the well know red x left on the top. Whenever I come back to thi sframe the pictures are there again until I hit the refresh key.

To the pics:

They look interesting. But we should not confuse the real look with what the cameras show on TV. As Alex pointed out not long ago in real life thje colours DO look bright and powerful - they do not have this low contrast they apparently have on the TV screen (and the edited pics). The tunnel in Monaco is a good example. If you see the race through the eyes of the camera, there is almost a flash of light blinding the lens for a milisecond whenever the car leaves the tunnel. Drivers say that this is not the case in real life. It is due to the fact that the lens of the camera is way slower to refocus than the human eye.

Still I think your work is good, since the T-cam look is the look from a camera (as the name already says).

Thanks, yeah, they are not bad, but are intentionally made to have that interlaced picture as a reproduction of a TV broadcast, I also put a bit of lens flare in the bottom 2 and made it look a little bit brighter in the center, like a camera glare, it will always pick up the image better in the center.

I know what you mean in the contrasting effect when the onboard camera goes inside the tunnel in Monaco, it has to adjust just like our eyes do, all cameras have the ability to detect the light level and adjust its contrast to reflect this. For example, if the camera is outside in a bright environment it will reduce the light level to make the picture nicer for us viewers, and if it suddenly goes into a dark environment, it takes time to adjust and bring the light level up for us to see the picture properly. If you have played Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty they simulated this effect in game pretty well, when you go inside from being outdoor, its a bit wierd.
