2004 mod from gp4italia

im using v1.1 of the 2004 mod from gp4italia. i havent altered the mod in any way, and similarly with the original install of the game. its also my first mod used with CSM (gone are the days of tediously adding cars and helmets for hours to make a full season up! :L) and im using the version from gp4db which is apparently a beta.

however, when it tries to load tracks it crashes and returns to windows.

i tried using csm v1.25.55 but it comes up with an error message when i launch the program and thus it just loads the normally installed game rather than the actual mod.

any suggestions as to a fix? ive had a look around online and only seen suggestions to install other versions of csm, which ive search and searched for with no luck whatsoever. so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure that you have updated CSM to 1.26. What does the error message actually say???
