Hi Fongu.

I have a problem and I don't know if you could help me.

When I go to install the 2022 helmets, using the specific shapes for each driver, I have the problem that only the paint
on the Ferrari, Mercedes and Red Bull helmets come out correct. The others, although the shape is loaded correctly, they all come out with Zhou's painting.
Do you know what could be doing wrong?

All the best.

If it's coming out with a lot of Zhou's helmet, then it suggests GP4 can't find the correct shape and is loading the default one (you get the same issue if it can't find the correct car shape)

Thank you.

Any.
I do not know what to do.
I have installed the shapes, with the same name as the shapes of the cars, ferrari, mclaren..., etc. I have put the 2 lines of code in the Patch.ini:

Offset1=0x0024428E ; Enable Individual Helmet Shapes per driver
Code1=0x00

Offset2=0x00244410 ; Update Helmet Shape File Name Pattern: CAR_%s_Helmet%d_LOD_%d
Code2=0x43, 0x41, 0x52, 0x5F, 0x25, 0x73, 0x5F, 0x48, 0x65, 0x6C, 0x6D, 0x65, 0x74, 0x25, 0x64, 0x5F, 0x4C, 0x4F, 0x44, 0x5F, 0x25, 0x64

I have edited the CSM.ini with:

HighLodOnly		=0
HighLodCars		=1
HighLodHelmets		=0
HighLodFrontWheel	=1
HighLodRearWheel	=1
HighLodCockpit		=1

And nothing, stays the same. Only the helmets of the first 3 teams, Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari look good. Everyone else... Zhou.
I don't know what else to do anymore.

To be fair, I never get it right first time and I have to play around a bit to get it working.
Are you manually naming the helmets? In SkaningeN's 2008 pack, I named each helmet shape manually there.
If you look at my 1994 CSM structure, I throw the helmets in the cars folder and that sorts the naming convention automatically for me.
I also found that the naming convention changes depending on whether you are using the individual rims patch as well.

It seems you're nearly there if there are some helmets working and others not. If you wanted to pm to have a look at your cars.wad, I can do that.

Thanks for the help Fongu.
During this weekend I'll be doing various tests to see if I can do it, and if I see that I can't, with your permission, I'll send you the resulting cars.wad, to see if you could guide me a bit.

All the best.

PROBLEM SOLVED!

I managed to find the problem.
I had to rename the shapes according to the order and the name of the original GP4 shapes. Although the shapes had the name of the 2022 teams (Mercedes, Red Bull..., etc), when exporting them to "cars.wad", they are renamed in the order and name of the GP4 (Sauber, Arrows... .,etc). That's why it failed me.

Thank you very much for the guidance Fongu.
