Awesome work mate!

Question, could you do 'em also in .DDS format? I am using AC for this and the .TEX don't work in my Photoshop to convert to AC.

:-)

So many lids in such a short time, and most of them not even remotely easy... You blow my mind every time, Kev!

You can use TexResizer to convert tex to tga: [www.grandprixgames.org]

Actually you need slimtex to convert the GP4 .tex files. I use a different type option for conversion, which is a larger file, but it is mostly lossless in terms of quality, and I decided to release them this way so that conversions to other games can happen without me having to share my files.

Blacktoof has already converted the base pack here: Race Department

You are welcome to convert the special helmets, the only thing to watch for in the conversion is you need to extract the light map that is stored in the alpha channel.

Ah thanks, will try that! Indeed I got the Blacktoof base pack and really like the special helmets to go with them.

Right, enough of the helmets now, let's get back to releasing cars ;)

1994 Lotus 109 Mugen-Honda (Australian GP) v1.0 by Fongu

Here's a new 1994 car, my fifth car released from that season, and it's a car that has never been in GP4 before, the Lotus 109. As usual, there's more information over on my blog, but in the meantime, here's the links.

Hey everyone,

I would normally be spamming you with lots of helmet previews, but unfortunately I don't have the time to do them right now.

However the helmets are created and completed, those that were raced in Spain and Monaco have been added to the 2022 helmet pack.

Plus, head over to my blog to see news of something else I'm working on and hoping to release soon [fongugp4.blogspot.com]

Fantastic news regarding a new version of the 1994 mod, surely it will be a lot better than version 3.0 of mine.

Great, I'm glad your 1994 Mod project is almost complete, Kev! :-)

Just to know, Alesanchez's liveries are derived from the ones I originally converted, right?

Yes and no. I had them anyway but you had already converted them to tex files before I did. I lose track who did the conversion in the final mod.
I also have Oggo's original PSD's, so I've added a number of new liveries.
Sorry it's taken this long!
