Live Timing on 2nd PC for GP4

I was thinking. My brother and I hotseat race the entire season every year and latley, we have been imagining how fun it would be if there was a way to see live timing of our race on a 2nd PC networked to the game machine.
I would think there would be a way to edit GP4 to write a stats file to a location readable by a networked PC. The timing doesnt even have to be live. maybe a 5 second delay or something.
Anyone know if something like this would be possible?
Obivously an entire program would have to be written to read this file and display it on the 2nd PC. I'm sure any significant work between the machine would hurt, but the conecpt would be really neat to investigate.
Any ideas?

Nahh it's possible, just take a lot of work and wouldn't be used by many :/

Maybe GPxPatch could help if you play in hotseat mode, but no need for a second PC then, just use the micro-time windows...(M key shortcut).
you will see overall best time and sectors and current time and sectors...
Maybe not as complete as you are looking for... but it's simple, clean, and always visible.
