I don't know the name of the music, but the video/audio sequence was taken from the official 1991 review intro, with the exception being the bit with the title, which was added for mod purposes.

Yeah, it's a quality clip. I always enjoy watching it Music was probably specially composed.

The music is "Unfinished sympathy" by Massive Attack I think.

The MOD 1991 did me come back in a time where the ability and the courage still outweighed the technology...
It was a championship well disputed, burying the terrible decisions of 1989 and 1990...

Just small issue
Sometimes RPM are not show in cockpit,
those grey boxes sometimes are visible sometimes not

Is it because of some GFX setting or GFX card ?

Tanks for this very nice mod!

I have a small problem with the engine sounds, they some times fade away for a time (maybe a lap) and then come back, i have the same problem with the engine sounds in the 1986 and 1988 mods, but got it fix by downloading new turbo sounds.

Does anybody have any good setups for the cars of this mod?

Any news on the Williams texture update?

No idea what that could be. I've never had that problem and I don't know of anyone else having it. If you had this problem before then it suggests to me that it's something more to do with your configuration more than anything. Sorry for not being able to help.

The Williams bug fix is part of a bigger update that oon wil lbe released. I'm waiting for more bugs to be reported so I don't have to put all kinds of small fixes online.

Jagdpanzer, have you tried to set your gp4 graphics to a higher level?

Erix, I have texture rez set to high for the cars. I had to tune down some other graphic setting a bit because initially I was getting a very slow frame rate. I think for some reason this was related to the circuit I was attempting to drive on, the problems seemed to be less severe on other tracks.

However, no matter the setting, the engine cover on my Williams is solid white. It's supposed to be yellow I think with Camel logos?

BTW, I can wait till th fix comes out..

You mean like this?

I thought the textures were messed up but it seems you're driving around with the early season car! Go to the "mod's configurables" and select a post-brazil gp to see the yellow engine cover.

Erix my apologies for the false alarm. I went back and checked at some later races and you are absolutely correct about the engine cover on the Williams.

I've been enjoying your mod so much I hadn't tried anything besides the USGP!

Only other small bug I've noticed is when selecting the steering wheel it seems to want to only display the default Momo wheel, but this doesn't keep me from enjoying the mod a bit...

So how come the requirements for the 2006 mod are higher than the box version whereas for the 1991 mod its the same?

You can alter the quality to suit your system in the CSM menus, under mod's configurables i believe
