Well it would be a little too early to start thinking about GP5 but Sony's licence will end after next season...

So here are my ideas for the GP5:

- 19 tracks or even more possibility
- safety car
- if you crash your car badly, then you won't be able to return to the pits and continue the session
- messages like "The car can't be fixed before the qualification, you will have to start the back of the grid" or if you crash badly in qualification then it would be "The car can't be fixed before the race, you can't start the race".
- podium cutscene
- if you ignore blue flag or don't slow down when there's yellow, you will be penalized.

Dream on, it will never happen.

Otherwise, nowadays F1 sucks big time, no reason to make a F1 game about it.

Hi guys,

As far as i know, the next sony's game for PS3 will include safety car and warm-up lap, not bad. Hope they improve the simulation as a whole, otherwise i'll get frustrated once again. :)

Note that the PS2 version of the same game won't have these features unfortunetely...

Cheers,
rpadrela

When Playstation lose their EXCLUSIVE rights to the F1 game stuff, it be great to see SIR Geoff Cramond ;) Come back and give us the last installment. But I'd like to seeeeeeee a sort of campaign mode *like F105* where you test for drives, start in a Minardi and work your way to the championship over like 10 years or soming... Now that would blow my socks off ;)

actually, i do not play gp4 because the graphics suck, i prefer playing f1 challenge, but that is a matter of taste. but you can do installation - and formation laps in f1 challenge by simply editing some files.
what i am concerned about is the fact, that sony has the f1 licence till 07 and maybe will get the next one too, because their console games sell many copies. so there won't be a new f1 game in the near future.

19 tracks?
Long time ago, I read here that 18 tracks would be possible.
I'll looking in my backups this msg and post the link here soon...

I have seen that old post too.

It is possible with CSM and you can have more than 18 tracks too. That was said in post, but not told how.
