ah are you making it WillB? if so, then thats great news after that fantastic Silverstone I'll be expecting something just as great if not better

does anyone know why the tarmac goes from high res to low res in certain places?

It's called mipmaps

so can it be stopped or changed

ZaZ mentioned somewhere (might've been realgpx) that he was looking into a way to create "lod 0" textures that were on permanentely but I haven't heard anything for a while about that
