WGP Series (2006) - 2nd Test Results On New Thread

hers another option:
4 - each round has 2 races. first is hotlapping and determines championship points, prize money, sponsorship. 2nd race is simulation withgris determined by race 1. winner and fastest lap (and more?) get some bonus prize/spsonor money.

ah no, not actual drivng Dont count me in if it becomes the "rule"

lapping yourself would kill it for me, I don't have the time to dedicate myself to be super duper quick in GP4, as I would obviously want to fare well in this case. I think I'll stick to this league, but just so I don't mess things up for rocker as we spent some time going over this (but not that happy).

Drivers only have to do a few hotlaps every three weeks and submit them to the team manager and/or league website for verification and standings by the look of it at the moment, test drivers (testing setups etc.) might do more or will do hotlaps if a 1 or 2 driver cannot do them or if too slow Not sure about the race, maybe each driver could do 10 laps which is a cakewalk, a sunday arvo drive, and submit their laptimes with a screenshot of the standings. Another way could be AI run, but how do you give each AI the perfs and physics for each car? The first race isn't all that far away so have to come to a decsion soon. Just doing my Paul Stoddart aussie stirrer bit for the series lol.

hmm, well i think hotlaps are good. maybe if you cant do it you can manage a team, or if you dont submit laps you'll start from the back of the grid in the simulated race, so you'll be involved some how

for the hotlap part, perfs will be sorted so better results give better perfs.
and the ai race will use the perfs and qualifying spots determined in the hotlapping.

I still disagree with us driving. This began as a simulation thing, but now we will need to practice to be quick in GP4 to have an advantage as I'm sure people will want to win (if it was simulation it would be just for fun without worrying about who wins and such), so I guess I will give it a try but if I don't have fun then I'm sorry but I am leaving.

Also, as far as I know you can't define grid order in GP4 but I imagine you'll find a way with CSM?
