Why is this not to your liking?

However I did not know of the existence of this mod, I have the 2004 Megapatch of GP4Italia but I don't think it is the same thing ...

Your 2004 mod is realy great MSchumi24. I like to play those old mods to and tweak them

I remember that this mod have all the great Ricardo Lampert tracks

Do you mean these Ricardo Lampert tracks? [www.mediafire.com]

Thosde 2004 tracks are bad.
Track editing when those came out was so limited that you could not do almost anything.
Their are so many impresitions.
Its not Ricardos lampert fault but the tool was limited.

Are there any updated/corrected versions of the 2004 tracks out there ?

Yes, they are located inside the 2004 non csm mod that Josekast published in Gp4forever.
It even has the new track layouts of that time of the Magny cours track and Hockenheim and others tracks
that Ricardo lampert did not because of limited track editing capabilities of the tool.
