Hi there!
I'm sorry for the stupid question but I'm in trouble with overlays.
TV style Gpxpatch overlay overlaps with that of the game.
What can I do?
Thanks!

Check that TV overlays are disabled from the graphic options?

Sorry, I bought the game on day one but I don't know it because I used it very little, I knew it was a stupid question.
Thank you.

You have solved it?

Yes, I solved it, but also no.
Now in the race I don't have fundamental information, such as the gap from who precedes me.
Do I need to configure anything?

If you drive in cockpit view you could actually view the necesary information in the lcd display of the steering wheel ...

Which overlay did you turn off, the one in the graphics options or the GPxPatch ones?

I had an issue yonks ago where changing it in the graphics options didn't fix it for me - so if it doesn't; go to the f1graphics.cfg, open it in notepad and find the line "TV style overlays on track cameras" and set it to 0.

This disables the original low-resolution overlays, so you can continue with the newer, high quality and more useful GPxPatch ones.

I've turned off the overlay of the game...

No need to edit the file for me, I've simply unchecked overlays in graphics options in the game.

The default overlay of GPxPatch seem less informative than GP4 overlay.
I miss the indication of the gaps for example.

GPxPatch should show the gaps, is it defaulting to the standings? If you press the '1' key it'll show you the different captions you can access, 'S' will cycle through the gaps between the fella in front and the fella behind you, but usually you're better off leaving it at Directors' cut by pressing D.

What I've done, is that I've mapped the S, B, D and V keys to the D-pad on my G29 using antimicro (although you could probably do the same in LGHUB) - so I can cycle through what I need whenever I want. If you have a wheel or controller you can do the same if you have some spare buttons available.

If you're generally not a fan of the GPx overlays however, you can disable them by unticking GPxSat in GPxPatch.
