Cars are too shiny

Hi, how can you reduce the shine of the car? Especially with black / dark cars it is way too shiny, the parts are almost white.
I've already tried to adjust the colors of individual cars, but even that doesn't work

How you do it depends on which paint package you use. There's some useful info here on the forum if you look for it.

an other way is to change this setting in f1graphics.cfg:

100			; Environment map strength (0=>use game default)

i think it goes from 1 to 200 (0 is game default)
