AI cars crashing

I set the AI errors in the MD on '12' but still half of the cars crash (run off the track or collide...). What to do or in other words - how to make the MD settings work?
As this is rather boring and prevents me from converting new cars any help is much appreciated...

I set all errors in 0 (I do not want to type points because of breakages AI). They and at 0 all the same sometimes break.
At errors=0-4 quantity of failures will be moderated.

What track are you using? Some tracks are just a handful for the AI and tweaking the cc-line is more useful than tweaking the md.

On some tracks it certainly depends of the cc-line mostly
