Hi,
I've reinstalled GP4, but now have the following problem, even in the original cars.wad the Ferrari is white and in other cars, the suspension / cockpit is white. I have my confiq. think correctly adjusted but can not explain the problem to me.
Graphic is on high
GPxPatch and Decrypted exe are installed
Win10
Installed in C: gp4 folder (created by me) / infrogrames / ...

Hello,

Go into your GP4 Folder and search for "f1graphics.cfg",
Then, search for the line "Increase car texture",
And replace the 0 by a 1, then magically, the cars will be colored !

So replace the 0 in f1graphics.cfg controls all settings by a 1
If this doesn't work, then I can't help you anymore

Oh I've got it, it is because your shared files
(carbon for the suspension and barge boards)
are the one from the 2019 car, so it's from files like
"carbon.tex" in your wad.

To fix it you need to put back a original cars.wad

Okay,
now have the original cars wad in there, now the Ferrari is completely white and all other cars are still white on the suspension / cockpit and the jaguar shape from car1 switches between prost and jaguar, depending on whether I choose it
