Which software is suitable to use, when creating buildings and other 3D objects, for GP4 tracks. I have tried using sketch-up, but it doesn't seem to work well with GP4 builder.

zmodeler 1.07b has a .gp4 Export function. Lo2K's GP4 builder will import .3ds meshes, so anything that outputs to that format should be good!

Nothing professional about that - but I use GP4Builder for shaping buildings. Combined with a spreadsheet program for geometric and mapping calculations and GIMP for painting it works quite well. Some time ago I've tried the free version (I don't know if there is still one) of ZModeler and wasn't impressed. In the end you have to check welding, normals, face orientation etc after every conversion in GP4Builder anyway.

Your floor looks very clean. You don't need a table for dinner. ;)
