This may sound highly strange but does anyone have a tarmac file that can be installed via gpxpatch.

I believe it is what will cause the tarmac on each track to be of higher quality visually

hmm could you post a screenshot of your problem? I think tarmac textures are only stored in trackxx.wads and gpxpatch only can use tarmacs for gp3 if I´m not mistaken.

it is not really a problem it is just a request.

I have seen people upload videos of there games and the tracks look much cleaner and then I saw the tarmac file in gpxpatch

oh I see, it could also be about f1graphics.cfg settings...anyway tarmacmap.tex files are stored in each track.wads.

ok, but it only works wiht gp3-2000, this was written on gpxset doc:

Tarmac bitmap. Specifies the tarmacmap.bmp file to use. Should be located under the gp3jamsh\techjam directory. Track specific tarmac bitmaps can be specified in the season set (GP3-2000 only), or directly in gpxset.ini (see below).

Carset configuration options

Tarmac bitmap. Optionally specify the name of a tarmac bitmap that overrides the one in the GPxSet tab.

Note: Only available for GP3-2000.
