I have made two track layouts for GP4. Each is pretty difficult.

What I want to know is, which layout do you prefer, and which one should I continue on (to eventually release). Both of them use track slot 3.

Here is choice 1 - The British GP: Dewsbury

And here is choice 2 - The GP of Ecuador: Yahuarcocha

Make your choice and say why!

I also like dewsbury better

A couple of questions:
-Are they noth clockwise as i think the uk one would probably be better anitclockwise because of that massive straight
-Is the Dewsbury circuit based on anywhere in Dewsbury?

I prefer the first one, looks more challenging :)

The second one makes me remember a bit of new hockenheim...

@brunoboi - Dewsbury is anti-clockwise, Yahuarcocha is clockwise.

Tbh, I prefer the Ecuador track. Since I know that there are some major elevations between Turns 1 and 3, and I love them.

I prefer the first one just because of the 3 hairpins and the chicane after the straight :P

well Ecuador looks to have more overtaking places and seems to be faster to drive also so I would prefer that one :)

Oh well. It's merely people's opinion (I think I may try and do both).

hey again.

I've updated the first track and I've realised it'd be pointless to say where it is before completing it. That is why I'm leaving it to you to choose where each track is put.

Here's the new version of the first track.

As a result, the speed of this track is improved. The fastest lap time is now 1m23.475s (set by Michael Schumacher - default 2001 cars).

I may require a graphics guru (i.e. Zeppelin101,jimbob1,Ruboy etc.) to help complete it fully - as I have absolutely no experience of graphics and shaping (and I've really not got the time to learn the craft). You will recieve full credit for your work.

Hi. I am from Ecuador and found this post. I have played all GP series from F1GP to GP4. Did you build this Yahuarcocha track? I have seen on Internet and the layout is not the real track... Regards from Ecuador

Hey emo,

firstly it would be good to have a look at the title, where the author says "Fictional Track"!
And apart from that, the thread is 3 years old. I doubt that anything further happened with this project.
