2013 Helmetset and Shapes by SkaningeN

This is the end of my planned roadmap of updates. I promised myself to finish off the V10 and V8 era which I now have. I know there is some stuff to revisit from the beginning of my add-on projects. My stubborness have won over the fatigue when it's coming to this season this time. I might do 2014 aswell later on, but will not go longer than that. The hybrid era does not give me enough feeling to revist 2015 onwards.
With that bullshit out of the way, let's throw some more add-on crap in your face! 2013 Edition!
The 2013 helmetset now with seperate helmet shapes.
This helmetset have gotten some tweaks and now also gotten the correct helmetshapes for all drivers. I've added some missing helmets, fixed some others, fixed the alphalayer on some and added new versions that seemed to be missing.
All helmets from the 2013 season (that I know of) is included in this pack and are painted to fit the correct helmetshape. And I've done the best I can to make sure each helmet has the correct visor tint for the right races. But in most cases, you can decide yourself. You can run all helmets with individual shapes or you can use all helmets with only one shape for all. But if you only use one shape, some textures will not fit properly, most cases the visor tear offs and the new visorstrips on the updated shapes. They are put in team order following carnumbers.
I need to give Josekast alot of credit here, he painted the majority of the whole seasons helmets. Amazing work!
I noticed several versions of helmets from 2013 were missing and I had paint several from scratch or just use another version as base to get the lines right. Note that the quality does not come close to what the original authors, Im a Little bit of a noob and only use Photoshop CS3. But rather have these than none at all, right?

Also note that I have gone for the helmets and visor tints the drivers used in the races. There were cases during the year were drivers had a different helmet for qualifying, but those have not been included.
The changelog/credit list tells you what's in this pack and what I've done. I've written down every small detail I've done to each helmet, and if there is no text after, it means that it's the original one.

Known issues:
* During testing on previous sets, I noticed that in order to add this helmetset to a mod it could mean that you have to change some filenames in order for it to work. I've made this set as stand-alone as I don't use CSM myself.
* I have done the helmet textures so that they fit the drivers real helmetshape the best. Example, so if you use Felipe Massa's helmet with Arai instead of Schubert, the result might be some textures not fitting correctly in some places.
* This set is orginized along with car numbers.
* Some authors painted HANS devices in different color which I think look wierd. In my last set, I repainted all HANS devices black, but for this set only the Arai helmets. BELL and Schuberth have different texture mapped to the HANS devices so it was already black. I know some drivers had different colored HANS devices but I have not wanted to put any effort in that.
* This set uses the same shapes as the 2012 helmetset. Each driver have their own shape. Even if the shapes are mostly the same, some shapes have been slightly modified to fit certain textures. For example, all Schuberth helmets might not have the same maping for the top. There are even some drivers who have a certain shapes for a particular race only. For the best experience, use the shape allocated to each driver and race.
NOTE: You need to add all the common helmet texture files in your cars.wad, otherwise you'll get parts of the helmets that become white

This is the end of my planned roadmap of updates. I promised myself to finish off the V10 and V8 era which I now have. I know there is some stuff to revisit from the beginning of my add-on projects. My stubborness have won over the fatigue when it's coming to this season this time. I might do 2014 aswell later on, but will not go longer than that. The hybrid era does not give me enough feeling to revist 2015 onwards.
With that bullshit out of the way, let's throw some more add-on crap in your face! 2013 Edition!
The 2013 helmetset now with seperate helmet shapes.
This helmetset have gotten some tweaks and now also gotten the correct helmetshapes for all drivers. I've added some missing helmets, fixed some others, fixed the alphalayer on some and added new versions that seemed to be missing.
All helmets from the 2013 season (that I know of) is included in this pack and are painted to fit the correct helmetshape. And I've done the best I can to make sure each helmet has the correct visor tint for the right races. But in most cases, you can decide yourself. You can run all helmets with individual shapes or you can use all helmets with only one shape for all. But if you only use one shape, some textures will not fit properly, most cases the visor tear offs and the new visorstrips on the updated shapes. They are put in team order following carnumbers.
I need to give Josekast alot of credit here, he painted the majority of the whole seasons helmets. Amazing work!
I noticed several versions of helmets from 2013 were missing and I had paint several from scratch or just use another version as base to get the lines right. Note that the quality does not come close to what the original authors, Im a Little bit of a noob and only use Photoshop CS3. But rather have these than none at all, right?

Also note that I have gone for the helmets and visor tints the drivers used in the races. There were cases during the year were drivers had a different helmet for qualifying, but those have not been included.
The changelog/credit list tells you what's in this pack and what I've done. I've written down every small detail I've done to each helmet, and if there is no text after, it means that it's the original one.

Known issues:
* During testing on previous sets, I noticed that in order to add this helmetset to a mod it could mean that you have to change some filenames in order for it to work. I've made this set as stand-alone as I don't use CSM myself.
* I have done the helmet textures so that they fit the drivers real helmetshape the best. Example, so if you use Felipe Massa's helmet with Arai instead of Schubert, the result might be some textures not fitting correctly in some places.
* This set is orginized along with car numbers.
* Some authors painted HANS devices in different color which I think look wierd. In my last set, I repainted all HANS devices black, but for this set only the Arai helmets. BELL and Schuberth have different texture mapped to the HANS devices so it was already black. I know some drivers had different colored HANS devices but I have not wanted to put any effort in that.
* This set uses the same shapes as the 2012 helmetset. Each driver have their own shape. Even if the shapes are mostly the same, some shapes have been slightly modified to fit certain textures. For example, all Schuberth helmets might not have the same maping for the top. There are even some drivers who have a certain shapes for a particular race only. For the best experience, use the shape allocated to each driver and race.
NOTE: You need to add all the common helmet texture files in your cars.wad, otherwise you'll get parts of the helmets that become white

* Yeongam to New Delhi & Austin by Josekast - Based on Josekast's version 3, small update to the top Red Bull logo so it does not bleed over the upper visor, repainted so the visorshadow did not show, repainted parts of the helmet topm new visor and visorstrip and updated alpha layer. Includes Suzuka with Maria de Villota star
* Interlagos by Josekast - Small update to the top Red Bull logo so it does not bleed over the upper visor, repainted so the visorshadow did not show, cleaned up the top to remove helmet shape textures and some cleaner texture overall, new visor and visorstrip and updated alpha layer.

* Yeongam by Josekast - Based on Nurburging & Hungaroring, small change to Regus logo, added cashper logo, added Beelen.nl logo on top of the helmet wing and updated visorstrip for this particular race
* Suzuka by SkaningeN - Based on Singapore, but removed Gassan Diamonds logo, removed carbon painted visorshape, repainted some lines, added R75 logo to the back, moved Arai logo further up, added Beelen.nl logo on helmet wings and added Maria de Villota star above the visor
* New Delhi & Abu Dhabi by Josekast - Based on Montreal & Silverstone, but added Regus logo, cashper logo and Beelen.nl logo on the helmet wing
* Austin by SkaningeN - An attempt to paint the missing Austin version from scratch

* Singapore to Suzuka by Nick9320 & SkaningeN - Based on Sakhir to Monaco, but repainted the white color to grey, some small patterns added, added owb.creative logos below the visor, new helmet top pattern and updated the alpha layer to get a more chromish look

* Abu Dhabi by Nick9320 & SkaningeN - Based on Singapore to Suzuka, but painted some of the top lines in black instead of red, top pattern now in red instead of black, added some small new lines and replaced owb.creative with WRS logo
* Austin by Nick9320 & SkaningeN - Same as Abu Dhabi but replaced WRS logos with EDM logos
* Interlagos by Nick9320 & SkaningeN - Same as Austin but replaced EDM logos with owb.creative logos

* Melbourne & Sepang by jvinu2000 - Repainted all the carbon to black, added an weak outline to the side movite, moved the Chilton internetadress to fit more realisticly, repainted shape above the visor to fit shape better, updated the shape and colors of the top motive, new visorstrip, new visor and new alpha layer
* Shanghai to Montreal by jvinu2000 - Based on Melbourne & Sepang, but added LDC and Belstaff logos on each side and BRDC logos on the shape above the visor
* Silverstone to Spa by jvinu2000 - Based on Shanghai to Montreal, but moved LDC logos a little upwards, added BRDC logos on each side and an Union Jack motive along the lower black parts
* Monza by jvinu2000 - Based on Shanghai to Montreal, removed BRDC logos above the visor, painted the lines and patterns in an italian motive, added ComparaMeglio.it logo on each side, repainted top motive and added Monza logo and a new visor
* Singapore by jvinu2000 - Based on Silverstone to Spa, but added owb.creative logos on each side
* Yeongam to New Delhi by jvinu2000 - Based on Silverstone to Spa, but moved the LDC logo and owb.creative logo downwards a bit
* Abu Dhabi by jvinu2000 - Based on Yeongam to New Delhi, but replaced owb.creative with WRS logo
* Austin by jvinu2000 - Based on Abu Dhabi, but replaced WRS with EDM logo
* Interlagos by jvinu2000 - Based on Abu Dhabi, but added a dark red daimond color to main motive, and painted a new Union Jack motive on it.
