New MOD CSM MEGAPACK F1 GEN8 MultiSeason 1998-2025

Posted by superman77m
Thank you, Sergio!
thank you for updating this wonderful mod!
Loving the mod so far. Although I can't test everything since there's so much content to explore, I did find a few issues.

For some reason every single version of Singapore has this strange, non-solid wall covering the entire track in turns 2 and 3. I don't know why that's there.

Also, the 2011 cars don't have a custom steering wheel, instead using the default one from vanilla GP4 which doesn't look very good. I bring this up because every other season I tested has a custom steering wheel model.

And the biggest one by far, there are two tracks I found so far that have the bug where the CPU cars get stuck in the pits, and will never complete their stop until their teammate comes in for their own pit stop, which renders the track unusable for longer races.

The two tracks that have this issue are 2004-10 Monaco and 2023-Present Singapore. At Monaco only teams 1 and 11 are affected (so the very first and the very last pitbox), but at Singapore, the bug affects all teams.
I'm sorry to hear about the problems, but in the case of the 2011 steering wheels and the image, I don't have that issue. Also, the Singapore track used for 2011 doesn't have the textures I see in the image. I think you're using the latest version of the MegaPack (GEN8).
On another note, I should mention that you shouldn't change the integrated tracks, just in case. They're modified specifically for use in the mod, and if you replace them with others, you could easily run into problems. Although I've modified aspects of the tracks, some more than others, I haven't modified content like the cul-de-sac in the image at all; it's exactly as it was at the time of release.
Regarding the pit stops in Monaco 2004 and Singapore 2023, I did see the problem in Monaco (thanks for the feedback). It's possible that some changes will need to be made, which I'll elaborate on in the future. I'm not sure if it's related to the physics or the MagicData parameters. In any case, I'll look into it further.
I would uninstall the MegaPack and reinstall it. I see things in the image that don't match what I have.
Make sure it's the latest version, and I recommend installing the included update afterward (currently v8.1.2), located in a folder called "UPDATES" on the server. The update mostly adds new materials and options, but it also includes some minor fixes, although not related to the steering wheel issue or what you mentioned.

Best regards.

Yeah, only after taking the screenshot did I realize the game actually loaded the wrong track (it's actually 2013 Singapore in the screenshot). I didn't swap this track at all (only Monaco 2004-10 to avoid the pit stop bug), the game just loaded the wrong track because I forgot to delete the Wadcache in CSM. I believe that's more of a bug with CSM itself and not the mod's fault. It shouldn't really matter because that strange model corruption happens in every version of Singapore, not just 2013, and clearing the Wadcache doesn't matter at all.
I'm going to take all of the seasons the mod has and play a full season with each of them to see what else I can find.

Hi CozmicDragon.
Problem in Monaco and Singapur solved and added into a new Update v8.1.3.
Thank you for the feedback.

New update v8.1.3 available.

Once you run the downloader, when you navigate to the server folders, along with the other folders containing season modules or the Full Pack, there is another folder called "UPDATES".
I will be placing updates for the F1 MEGAPACK in this folder.
Currently, I have included the update to version v.8.1.3.
It includes the following:

-FIX error in the Monaco and Singapore pit lanes.
-FIX absence of the letter “Ñ” in CSM menus in Spanish.
-New option in the CSM menu: Activate/Deactivate rearview mirrors.
-FIX color filters, HUDs and information panels.
-New Minardi M01, Ferrari F399, Jordan-Mugen 199, Williams FW21 and Benetton B199 libraries (1999).
-Settings in main menu.
-FIX CC-Line from Silverstone 2010.
-Special wheels for Ferrari at Monza 2025.
-Update of external sounds of the cars from 2017 to 2025.
-GP4PP has been updated to version 2.2.2, allowing you to force Z-buffer control and eliminating texture flickering issues on tracks.
-A new option has been added to the CSM menu to select your preferred Z-buffer configuration: the original or the forced setting.

The update located in the server folder for individual seasons is the same as the one in the Full Pack access folder.
The update installer automatically checks which years are installed and updates only what's already installed. It also cleans up old files.
Note that if you install a new seasonal module on an existing installation, you must always run the update file after making any changes.

I hope you like it.

Best regards.

Just had a quick go on a few of the seasons and the work that has gone in here is absolutely incredible! Well done.

The only question I have is if it's possible to convert the gpxpatch text back to English? It's probably a setting I'm missing somewhere

One question.

Your GP4 and GPxPatch, what language is it installed in?

Definitely English. It's in English when I use the default game and other CSM mods

I figured out that the issue was with the gpxset file. I edited that, and it's now in English. Thank you for your hard work!
I'm glad you got it sorted.

Anyway, even though that panel appears in TV view (I couldn't remove it), if you install the MOD and select "English" as the language at the beginning of the installer,
the text should appear in English. I tried installing the MOD in English and it works fine for me.

Anyway, that menu appears as a remnant in TV view. My initial intention was to remove it, but I couldn't.

Cheers.

I've re-uploaded UPDATE 8.1.3 due to an error I made in the installer for versions 8.0.9 and later.
The mistake I made while creating the installer caused the top data panel to be missing from seasons 1998 to 2013.

The corrected 8.1.3 installer is now available on the servers.

Greetings.

Thanks
