14th with boost? Not looking good...

-----------------------------------------------------

I expect the weather to play a role in us getting higher up the order, otherwise not much to hope for.

11th not bad for us :-)
Lol, what an abysmal lap. I'm guessing I went out in the wettest part of the session. Hopefully in the race I get all the love from the GP4 gods that I didn't get in the qualy.
This is not good.

This season can't end soon enough.
So sad.

Grtz from Belgium,

Marcus

Welcome to the Malaysian GP

We will have a dryish track for the start but conditions are expected to deteriorate

The red Lights are coming on

And off we go

Castello is down to third, not an ideal start for him

Towards the end of the lap there's already noticable spray

Leader Brickles is coming under pressure from Pedersen

And Pedersen goes through

Drivers are having a hard time staying on the track, everyone Chose Slicks for the start but I think this will require an early stop for inters

Pedersen is able to open up a gap

Harvey is the next one to be caught out by the wet track

Brickles plays it safe and stops for tyres

Karda tries to copy that idea but misses the pit entry

He smashes into the barrier and is out

The rest of the field tries to avoid the stricken car in the pitlane

More Trouble in the pitlane as Sheppard gets it wrong as well

He's on a collission course

He ends up facing the wrong way and takes out sakate in the process

An unfazed Pedersen remains in full control of the race after everyone has stopped for tyres

Warrington up in third

Small Trains have formed in the midfield

Conditions are still extremely tricky

O'Brien runs into the back of Greidanus

Both spin

That did cost some places for both

Meanwhile Caranti is improving his points haul

At the front of the field Pedersen is dominating

Harvey is out due to engine issues

Buitenhuis is opening the second Phase of stops. Everyone opted for a two stop strategy after the early stop for tyres.

Elleker gets it wrong in the fast double right hander

Pedersen pits from the lead

Hinz and O'Brien clash

They are out of contention when it comes to points scoring positions

Warrington is also topping up fuel from the temporary lead

O'Brien is still figuring out the correct direction

After the second stops Pedersen is again in the lead with noone within view

Soutsen is under attack by a BRT I think

Both are off with the better outcome for Soutsen

De Los Rios is facing the wrong way in the last corner after a misjudged overtaking attempt

Brickles and Warrington in 2nd and 3rd with the gap slightly closing

Castello tries to hold onto 4th

O'Neill risks too much and runs wide in the first corner

Sheppard is the next one to lose control after running into Hinz

Pedersen enters the last lap

Caranti up in 4th, he made it past Castello

Pedersen wins, he was untouchable in these conditions

Brickles manages to stay in 2nd

Warrington finishes in 3rd

Well... a points haul for Mistral, with Silva recovering too. Tricky conditions and I was never a good wet-weather driver, plus I waited for the end of the race to admit that Sepang is one of the tracks I hate most to drive not to jinx it lol

Onto the next adventure! Congratulations to Pedersen!

From p18 to 4th, what a drive !!. And James did fantastic finishing 2nd.
Go Mist !!.

Great race for my teammate with a dominant win, my car just didn't seem to have the same pace

Starting from 14th and finishing 7th...

Still think it was a waste of boost and a lost opportunity.

But nevertheless some points for the team with both cars.

What a @#$%& show…..

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present

Those collisions ruined my race, and the incidents at the pit entrance were quite bizarre.

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?
Great podium! Well done, John.

We've truly made progress since last season. It's good to see.
Not too shabby, maybe the rain did help a bit. Should have boosted here instead.

8th place finish. Would have been 6th if I hadn't taken that corner too wide.

That was disappointing for sure. We were hoping for the conditions to potentially improve but it was not to be and our pace suffered as a result. At least De Bruyker managed to bring home some points so we won't be going back to base empty handed.

Pedersen was completely untouchable, therefore very happy with P2 and incredible drive from my teammate to recover to P4. Must be looking good in the constructors championship.
15th is all that I can do without the boost it seems... Hope next race will be better.
