Oh, I did not watch the movie. I am actually joking with the movie plot where Sonny is a veteran coming back after many years, just like I am doing here...

But since you asked for my opinion: judging by the drivers comments from the premiere and social media posted snippets of the movie. Doesn't look like a good movie for old die hard F1 fans, seems to be geared towards new/current generation of F1 fans (the Drive To Survive generation).

I could say a lot more about this subject, but enough with movie critics, it's off topic and I am eager to get back on track to see if I can still put pedal to metal, the upcoming Portuguese GP seems like a good place to do it and its close to home

The GPGSL S17 Round 3 at the Portuguese GP was an intense and thrilling race. Drivers battled fiercely on the challenging track, showcasing incredible skill and strategy. Overtakes and pit stops kept fans on the edge of their seats. The competition was tight, making every lap crucial. This round definitely set the tone for an exciting season ahead in the GPGSL championship.

Portimao is always an exciting track with plenty of overtakes and wheel to wheel racing. Excited to see what this race brought for our team.

And yes, the F1 movie feedback is definitely in line with what Castello wrote.

Normally, I was only following F1 for all these years, but after watching "Ford vs Ferrari", I started following sportscar racing too.

Which also makes sense that the movie was discussed length and breadth by the commentary team during the three 24 hours races we had in June - Le Mans, Nürburgring and finally Spa.

I would just like to add to Castello's post that one thing I loved about this movie was the soundtrack, really great mix of songs, especially Ed Sheeran's "Drive".
