Grand Prix 4 on Windows 11 - Troubleshooting issues

Hello guys!

So 4 years ago, I bought a Grand Prix 4 physical copy. I used it on my 2013 Lenovo Thinkpad Laptop which had an optical disk drive and then installed the patch and the no cd .exe file.

I needed an upgrade, and now I got me a new laptop, but it has no optical drive! I used an .iso file to install GP4, and installed it the same way I installed GP4 on my Lenovo Laptop (installing GPxPatch too), but I get the following error:

Insert the Grand Prix 4 CD, in any drive.

Can anyone tell me what I could do? Help would be appreciated!

Sincerely

Filecoder

You can load any .iso image or create a virtual drive (I use the Daemon Tools program to do it), then, the game loads ok.

It's an option, one that I've tried and know about, but I was wondering if there wasn't any other way? Just asking for storage concerns, but if there's any other work around I'm all ears

Hi Guys

I know that I should create a new topic but maybe it's a simple problem and dont deserve it.
I just installed GP4 in my new computer ( windows 11 ).
I notice that the GPXPATCH - micro time window is with the background color transparent. I did not find where to change it and why it happens only on the new computer ( it's the same installation I just copy it to a new computer ).

Best

Jose
