Thanks Naitch for this update! I will try both 1996 and 1997 and then maybe modify them and create performance files for 1998.
(Actually I already have PF for 1998, but for another physics).

I think the 1998 Buenos Aires track need some fine tuning with the CC line. Some drivers are taking some weird lines so random imo.

This is a known issue. The author of the track is not @Naitch, but @maxi82.
The track is overall about 80m shorter than the real, the first curve is too wide, 2 short straights are not aligned. There should be a short straight before Reuteman curve and so on.

Long story short: there are many issues, but there's no better version. This is one of the examples where the track was built completely from scratch by one person. And since it was only in 1995-98 seasons, there were no much interest in working on it. Be grateful that it exists.
So if you have time, you can definitely improve it.

(What I'm asking myself, if there's a quick way to convert its .dat file from GP3 and then build the objects around, the same question for Monza, they are in 1998 versions)

Thanks for the reply though - I am no content creator for the game, it has been like 20 years since I last did something for it and it was just car and helmets liveries on photoshop for myself.

There is not really a quick way and I don't think it will deliver a precise layout.
The best way is still to use Google Earth/Maps as base.
