CAP Converter [V1.00][Released]

Hi everyone,

here's a little tool I developed to convert CSM CAP files to INI files and viceversa. The tool was born out of an idea of Ed "SchueyFan" and fully supports both formats. You can also use multiple files at the same time as a source, to quickly produce a single CAP or INI patch file.
I know it's a little bit of a niche application, but I hope it helps the few of you that develop patches and mods.

A brilliant useful little tool.

I always found it a bit messy to have a mixture of CAP files and INI files in a CSM mod, now I can choose to do one or the other.

Those who don't run CSM now have the option to convert useful cap files to ini files with Duffer's Wad Controller.

First to all. Thank you for this appreciate program.

I have downloaded it but when I open it, this window appears:



I press "Yes" but it does not install anything and stays on the desktop.

How to do? My PC already has the .NET Framework. I downloaded v4.5 but the PC tells me that I already have it.

You need .NET 5.0 to run it. You can download .NET Desktop Runtime 5.0.17 from -> HERE <-
