Try to go in CSM, choose the 1989 mod, go to "GPxpatch setting of the mod" menu on the left, set he "CPU: 1".

I gave it a shot... yeah, it seems to be working flawlessly now. Tried it with elaborate and basic tracks, now I don't have a single crash so far. Thanks, mate. Oh, also the mod? Kicks maximum ayuss.

To make it 10 out of 10 I would probably add a generic v10 engine sound and a generic v8 engine sound. Furthermore i would love to make some sort of pre-qualifying, but that would be close to impossible I imagine..

I actually have my own very loose version of that. One that I'm gonna make a YT video on in future.

Just wanted to stop by and say thank you so much for this Mod! It's unbelievable, so detailed it feels like 1989 all over again!!

I did notice that both Benetton cars are #19 in the game. Instead of number 19 and 20. You can see this at 1:20 in the gameplay video posted by Prblanco a couple of posts above.
Don't know if it's something that I need to change in CSM etc? But it's only a tiny detail!

I'm also getting some random crashes to desktop, I can't seem the work out the cause. Can anyone here still read a GPx Log? Apologies if this isn't the place to ask, moderators feel free to delete if not for this post:

I got random crashes sometimes too. I saw a thread on here that said changing the CPU (In GPxPatch) from '0' to '1' might help. I did that and it seems to have solved most of them. E.g. I play 100% distance non-championship races most of the time and it doesn't quit on me.
